"The property is like no other, caters for large groups no matter the weather or season, we had some rain during our stay but it didn’t stop the kids swimming in the heated pool or being able to sit out on the back deck listen to the streamed music watch the kids and catch up with our friends. "Wonderful location. Wonderful home. Even the wild weather was spectacular. Unexpected issues: 1. The dishwasher and microwave had not been cleaned for a long time and we had to do this. This should be done after every renter. 2. Insufficient bin liners. 3. A vase of dead flowers was on the table when we arrived. 4. There was insufficient toilet paper for our stay. 5. The TV in the lower lounge area should be set up with free to air channels."

"We did not have the best weather for our weekend stay but this was more than compensated for by this incredible house. The hot tub and outdoor undercover dining meant that we could entertain despite the rain and the indoor fireplace made everything cozy. Equipped with everything you would need in terms of condiments, pots and pans etc it was super convenient. "The Protestant Hall was our mini honey moon before our actual honey moon. It was a gorgeous, romantic, quiet getaway. Such a picturesque property. All the amenities were awesome. Fire place was awesome. Highly recommend!"

"We were a little shocked that the property was a lot more run down than what the photos showed on the internet. Apart from that the location of the property was amazing and ticked all our boxes. The only thing that would have made the stay easier would be if the bathrooms had body wash, shampoo and conditioner. "

"Lovely, cozy, interesting. Very well located to Fitzroy Falls, which has some nice walks. Numerous wineries within 10 to 30 minutes drive. Host is intriguing, helpful, near by but not imposing. Kitchen is pretty limited - yay!Hooved neighbors were good listeners. "

"Overall we did enjoy our stay but would choose a different house next time. It’s just a short walk to Callala beach which is a lovely area. We did unfortunately find a few issues with the property. Keys didn’t work we had to use the cleaners key. Listing stated 2.5 bathrooms which it does have but picture shows 3 toilets there is only 2. No plug for the bath. BBQ needs a good clean! No door on the bunk room in the granny flat which is not ideal when positioned right next to a bathroom. Last of...
