"I stayed in one the cottages and it was super; clean, cosy & warm and designed to a high standard. The private garden a great addition. The restaurant and food is good quality and I thought priced reasonably. Chilham is a pretty village and the White Horse Inn is also super for a drink with the locals. Canterbury is a short drive, or train journey so a great place if you want to visit the city but be in the country. I loved it. "

"Very pleasantly surprised by our stay here, the pictures do not do it justice. Very comfy bed, fancy facilities like large very fluffy towels, very nice bathroom products, great selections of hot drinks. Only thing I would say is that if you are very tall, be careful of the low ceilings! "

Due to the location of the hotel I think this is definitely more of a seasonal hotel, however this didn’t impact my opinion of it, the service was great, room was lovely and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was incredible! My only complaint is that they don’t have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, we were told that we could go to the bar for these however, they charge for them on your bill at the end of the stay which...

"This is a property from the 1800's so this should give you an idea of what to expect. Lots of grand original features and very traditional. My room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The hosts were an absolute joy to be around and provided great company and conversation. Breakfast was delicious and set me up nicely for the day. I would recommend without hesitation and I look forward to staying again. "
