Charming Cottage on 35 Acres

Welcome to the Cottage at Oak & Hare Farms, where hosts Dustin and Erica will look forward to providing a hospitable experience for all. Their timeless farmhouse sits far enough away to offer all the privacy you could want, yet close enough to easily reach out should you need anything at all.

This charming cottage is situated on 35 beautiful, sprawling country acres. Experience farm life living first hand or simply sit back and take in the serene scenery. Located approximately 20 miles from Murfreesboro and 50 miles from the heart of Nashville, there could not be a more relaxing place to unwind and take in Tennessee’s stunning rolling hillsides. There are so many hidden gems nearby to explore!

**Please note that the queen size mattress is in the loft. Guests must be physically capable of climbing a vertical ladder to access the loft. The daybed/living room sofa on the ground level is a twin size mattress and can accommodate a third guest or anyone uncomfortable climbing the ladder. We do not encourage senior guests or those with young children as a safety precaution, provided the elevated loft. This property is not handicap accessible.

Another wonderful weekend!!
This is our second time for staying at this beautiful little house. The location is close to town but completely secluded. We spent almost the entire day sitting under the porch napping, enjoying the beautiful view and quiet location. Thank you again. We will be back.

Absolutely what I needed. The place is decorated perfect, has all your needs and a surrounding that gives you the opportunity To escape busy life and unwind. The owners are beyond accommodating. Stayed for my sons soccer in Murfreesboro and was so much better than staying in a hotel. We for sure will be back. My life is very busy, I had been sick prior and was coming up on 2 years to my dad passing. It wa exactly what I needed. Can not thank them enough.

Perfection!
This was our second stay and we will be back. Everything was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the birds, watching the sheep on the hill out back, and even the little family of wild turkeys that came up in the morning while we were drinking our coffee. This time we decided to bring a meal with us so we could stay in for the evening and enjoy the cottage a bit more. The kitchen has just enough of the basics to make it a breeze to fix a meal. This place is truly a gem that I can’t recommend highly enough!!

Beautiful and peaceful!
My husband and I stayed here almost two weeks ago for our anniversary and we loved it! The house is beautiful and comfy and the ladder to the loft has good hand holds. The couch/ bed at the bottom is also very comfortable if you don’t feel like climbing. The kitchen had a very good selection of dishes and small appliances, I was actually pleasantly surprised by everything. There was a fire pit outside and wood provided and at least three little porches that were beautiful places to sit and enjoy the scenery. Everything was nice and clean! The one thing that we didn’t love was all of the fragrances. They smelled very nice but we are used to cleaner products in our home and so we are more sensitive to strong fragrances and both of us were effected by it with itchy throats and eyes. But we would still recommend it and we would love to go back and stay longer!

Loved it!
This adorable little house was all that we expected it to be from the listing. My daughter enjoyed beating me at one of the new (for us) games, while I got revenge in a good ol' game of checkers. We enjoyed cooking some meals and enjoying them on the porch the day the weather was beautiful (and watching the donkeys and sheep) and inside at the cozy table the day it turned into a(n almost) blizzard! And sleeping up in the loft was so much fun!

Every detail was perfect at this rental. We will definitely be staying again! It was such a peaceful retreat for my husband and I. We drove into Woodbury for dinner and then settled in for some hot tea and board games. Can not recommend this place strongly enough! Needs 10 stars!

Property was as described. Very clean nice location. Quiet nice sitting outside. Saw deer everyday passing thru property. Sheep loved the food that was left for us. Good place to chill and unwind. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway this is a great option. If you have work to do or a game to watch this isn't the place, but if you want to relax and unwind and unplug, this is the place to do it. Bring some groceries and stay for a few days in a comfortable rural setting.

"Lil bit of heaven"
If you want to relax with nature in the cutest lil cottage you've ever seen, decorated so perfectly, you need to go to this cottage at Oak and Hare Farm. The surrounding views take your breath away as well as the cutest sheep, donkeys and morning visitors of deer. Everything you need is there for a restful stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.
