"This adorable cottage attached to the main house was fabulous for my wife and I for 4 nights! It has a little kitchen, space heaters everywhere (us southerners can’t handle the New England winters like we used to!) and was very clean! We have never stayed in an attached rental before and I would say we would be open to exploring more because of our experience! "

"Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teenagers) needed an affordable place to stay near Westport for 3 nights. This place was great. So much better than any other option we could find. Friendly, helpful host. Bathroom and second bedroom are "cozy" (small)...not an issue for us but it could be for some. Other rooms are a good sizes. "We were in New Haven for my grandson's graduation from UNH. The location was perfect. We got a good nights' rest and were off to UNH. The hostess was easy to communicate with and very responsive. A perfect little place for 3 or 4 people."

"Last morning of my son's stay the family woke to find the house in flood water and his car, parked in the designated parking space, submerged to the windows in sea water. The tow truck couldn't get near, and the family was marooned for 5 hours until the water suddenly vanished: it seems the storm drains the property were blocked. The car was totaled. A few suggestions, add more seating to the living room, pick up fluffy soft white towels from IKEA that can be washed and don't fade. Add towel rack or hooks in bathroom.
