"Great location, opposite lagoon, walk along the boardwalk to the ocean. True to advertising. Really enjoyed our time. Only things to be aware of that the veranda doesn't have a banister and there isn't any front fencing. The backyard is fully fenced and secure, however the front and rear doors do not open directly into yard, only an issue if you have a pet. A couple of issues with cleaning, the oven and the BBQ weren't clean. The vacuum cleaner was held together with duct tape which fell apart....

"Monaro cottage is a lovely house with beautiful views of the garden and mountains. It is a very short walk to the beach and we really enjoyed our stay. A few modest purchases would really help. The kitchen bin is a waste paper basket, please get a proper bin! There is no mop and with a wet dog and wooden floors a mop would be useful. "A mere 10 to 15 metres from the water we were absolute bayside with a view of the rugged coastline and the gently bobbing boats. We loved the area and found the locals friendly and very welcoming. Lots of history to soak up. This lovely little spot deserves a return visit."

"We stayed at Womboyn Lake Resort to walk sections of the Light-to-light Walk in Ben Boyd National Park. As soon as Peter knew this, he offered to ferry us to the start and end-points of each section to allow us to walk the track as a one-way walk. It's around 30 minutes by car each way over rough NP roads to the walk start/end points, so this wasn't a 5 minute exercise, but Peter was happy to oblige - and I had to force him to accept something for his time and petrol.
