"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were some places to eat in walking distance. The U-Baum was also in walking distance. There was a little hiccup with the checkin as I did not realize the email with the code went to my spam inbox. I found that and successfully got into the room. "

"I had a very nice week at City Pension Berlin. The place is two minutes from S-bahn station Charlottenburg, which make it easy to get around in the city. My room was clean and I slept very well in a nice bed. I found the staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. It was a nice atmosphere there. Right next to the pension there are lots of restaurants, cafès and shops. I would come back next time in Berlin!"

"We stayed over the NYE holiday and didn’t expect to find something so affordable. The location was alright in terms of convenience but the area is a bit questionable. Either way, the reception desk staff were very kind and the room itself was very clean and comfortable. Not bad! "

"The hotel occupies the whole floor of a superb old building in the Schöneberg area. The staff welcomes you like you were friends. Rooms have high ceilings and are very quiet. I strongly recommend this hotel. "

"Getting the key out of small box not clearly marked or indeed explained in the email was very stressful. This is a real problem. Hotel reception closes at 4pm!!!!"

"Nice big room. Great location. Beds comfortable. Friendly staff. Pleasant gardens. But: internet not good - went off after about 10 pm. Breakfast expensive at €15."

"The only reason I didn't give excellent is because the hallway and stairs need work. The room itself was bright and comfortable and clean. I feel this prooerty has gotten an unfair rap. It is an older building and not your IBIS but it is fair value downtown AND the host is the nicest and most helpful we have encountered AND there is an excelkent and full breakfastbreakfast "

"It's a unique little place in the heart of the Prenzlberg district of Berlin. Just a block from Schönhauser Allee S & U train station and also a block from historic Gethsemane church. Lots of little eateries and a major shopping center all just a few steps away. Neatly appointed rooms that fit right into the district's vibe. And an ice cream shop right att the entrance. "This was a perfect property for our family traveling with 2 large dogs. The bungalow had its own fenced in area which was perfect. The place had bunk beds for our kids and large bed for us as well as a couch in the living room. The patio was peaceful with a retractable awning.
