"The room we had was quite small. When I entered the bathroom I automatically switched on the lights with my butt because the door was so narrow. It's serviceable and everything else was good. "

"I had a very nice week at City Pension Berlin. The place is two minutes from S-bahn station Charlottenburg, which make it easy to get around in the city. My room was clean and I slept very well in a nice bed. I found the staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. It was a nice atmosphere there. "Horrible experience. I was traveling to Berlin for one night and upon arrival I found the hotel front door closed. Apparently this is normal as there is no staff on hand unless there is a check-in due however this prompted me to give the hotel a call. The lady on the phone then (in a very rude manner) informed me that the booking I had had been cancelled by hotels.com and that there were no rooms available. "The entrance and access to the rooms was dirty and unwelcoming. There was a lot of noise from delivery trucks and garbage trucks. There was no reception to speak of and this made it difficult to organise anything like taxis etc to get around. Extremely rude and arrogant manager who swore and used foul language when we made a comment that he was not very helpful or courteous. The place itself once passed the entrance was lovely but there was no lift and no help with luggage up the stairs. ...
