"Property owners agent (Travelnest) decided to cancel my booking without instruction. This caused a payment issue which ended in the property owner making threatening calls in regards to payment and demanding direct payment. This caused untold stress on my family to secure there stay for the second night stay. On top of this the kitchen did not have all of the necessary utensils needed to be able to prepare food, the downstairs toilet isnt fitted securely to the floor, plaster damaged in several...

"We had a long weekend stay in Thorpe view cottage. The cottage is well furnished, clean and cosy. The garden is well maintained with exceptional views. The pool is a great feature, was used every day. Ray and Julie are warm and welcoming hosts. Good location, ideal for walker's and cyclists. We had a hearty meal on two occasions at the Old dog pub, served by friendly landlord and staff.All in all we had agreat stay,will certainly return."

"Excellent hotel impeccably clean. Nice and quiet. Good fitness suite. Amazing staff on reception who went out of their way to help all the guests. Restaurant staff at dinner were less enthusiastic about their work and service could have been better. There is a little market with confectionary, a few travel essential like toiletries wouldn’t go amiss here. One of the best places Ive stayed recently "

"Pros: Modern and stylish, not expensive, spotlessly clean, dog friendly, staff were the friendliest we have come across on our travels and were great with our dog, you can take your dog in part of the restaurant, food was nice and not overpriced, plenty of space to take the dog for a walk, quiet area. The whole hotel was very clean. It looked lovely decorated for Christmas at the time. Cons: I genuinely can't think of any. We loved it here. "

Very relaxing weekend

"We stayed as a couple for the weekend. From beginning to the end our stay was amazing! We really enjoyed the spa and the pool, evening live music at the bar and the pizzas for dinner. Breakfast was also fine but there was no cheese and mostly sweet food which was a bit odd for a Turkish person like me :) overall, I highly recommend. "
