"Superb stay from start to finish. Dinner and breakfast was delicious and met expectations. Staff were friendly and chatty. I ordered sandwiches for lunch to take away and whilst it was ok, the container the sandwiches were put into didn’t keep it fresh and the bread was stale by the time it was ate. I’d be happy to stay again. "

"Nice hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The building has character. Room is clean. Walls are thin and I’ve been able to hear the man next door snoring, and now their dogs barking and whining. Apart from that all has been okay. Parking was easy to find using the postcode provided for it by the hotel. "

The only thing that was a bit odd was that, while our room was freshened up every day, the sink didn't get cleaned at all. My husband is a bit of a messy shaver and I am always very happy not to have to deal with the aftermath when staying in a hotel, so I was very surprised to find that part of the bathroom still untouched both days. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay and will be back! "
