"The personal welcome was excellent and friendly. I called when I arrived and was guided into the secure parking in a nearby courtyard. The room was very clean. The location was very easy walking distance to the central street through town. Marie Cecile had clear guidance for restaurants, how to hike up to the castles, etc. Note: The beds are very firm. Note: If you have sensitive ears, it is next to the church, so..... church bells. The breakfast was generous, including home-squeezed juice...

"Die Wohnung ist wirklich très chic und der Ausblick einfach phantastisch - ein insgesamt umwerfendes Ambiente. Einmalig und immer hilfsbereit auch das "Team Winzerhof". Leider war aufgrund des Jetstreams mit durchgehend grauem, nasskaltem Wetter (im Hochsommer!) die wundervolle Terrasse während der gesamten 2 Wochen kaum zu nutzen. Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert und mit Sonne einfach traumhaft schön."

"We loved our 3-night stay in this B&B. Comfortable room in a historic and well-renovated farmhouse from 1730. Breakfast was nice, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and the B&B was very quiet in a small village with lots of walking trails around. Drive to Villé (town with shops and restaurants) was about 5 minutes. We will stay here again if we will visit the area next time."

"What I especially liked was the ability to park on the property, with is in an outlying village of the Strasbourg metropolitan area, and bus it into the city - there's a regular service, takes half an hour, cost €2.50. It's a unique sort of property, an enclosed series of buildings, half-timbered in style, repurposed to local uses and tourism. The host is as brilliant as other reviews note - nothing too much trouble. "

She kept apologising for her English… but we had no problem she was very easy to understand and told us so much about the local area. She went above and beyond with us. "The parking was convenient, though not free, and needs to be booked with the hotel. I did not receive a response to my email, so had to telephone, I had to try a few times before being answered. I did not recive a written confirmation the parking was booked, but all was fine when we arrived. Very well located, just a few short minutes walk from petite france. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and well appointed. My daughter enjoyed the fuseball table in the lobby."
