The Bell is a gem if you what a traditional pub to stay very welcoming locals with good pub grub an excellent breakfast Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly Limited parking but that was fine with us Very quiet night room and bathroom good size.

I arrived at a lovely old pub in a nice location for one nights stay after a long drive. Was told that there was no food served that night but breakfast was arranged for 9am.The room was basic but Ok for me. The pub was deserted in the morning and no amount of knocking could raise anyone. After 9.15 am I gave up and drove into town for breakfast at the same place I went the night before. Very annoyed and disappointed about the Bell Inn.Not good enough. .

Really nice Inn with super friendly staff. Room was quiet and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast and enjoyed both meals. Would certainly re-book.

The bedroom was neat, clean and well serviced. The staff were friendly and helpful, the meal was generous and tasty but the condition of the carpetted area in the dining room was very dirty and smelly and the outside area had a neglected look.

We visit Witney 2 or 3 times a year but this was our first stay at the Bell Inn. Located in very pretty and peaceful countryside. Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed the stay very much. Room was very clean and tidy as was the bathroom. Great trip

Lovely property and superb breakfast. The staff were all friendly & totally amenable. The only strange thing is that even though the rooms were cleaned daily - the shower gels & loo paper weren’t replenished!!?

Lovely stay
Lovely welcome. Easy check in, lovely room. Locals very welcoming and friendly. Just a shame no car park, although parking in the village was not an issue. Ate in the pub at night and again at breakfast, lovely food.
