"The place was very impressive when going in. Clean and bright. The bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. Toilet leaking across the floor and baseboard trim needs to be replaced - makes it look dirty even though it’s clean. Food left in the fridge which shouldn’t be. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. Concrete needs to be replaced outside as when it’s cold and wet it can be very slippery. Excellent location to downtown and Mary Briwns Center. "

"Phenomenal view, attractively and comfortably furnished, beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Nicole, our host, was very responsive, answering any questions in a matter of minutes. We had everything we needed for a 6-night stay, including the use of the hot tub on the deck, a BIG plus at the end of a long day of hiking. Highly recommended!"

"A group of 6 came from Ontario to celebrate a birthday. The house was perfect for our size of group and the location was easy to get around. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Parking was a bonus as there is limited availability in the downtown area. I will be reaching out to stay again on my next visit. "Perry provided helpful instructions on how to access his house. Great parking in a quiet, treed neighbourhood a few kilometers from the city centre. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen for making breakfast and one evening meal. Everything in the house was tidy and clean. Good bed too. Perry graciously offered us suggestions on where to eat. "We enjoyed our stay and there were the essentials offered, which was nice. The suite is true to the photos. It was cozy and in a convenient location. The owners live upstairs and have small children, which would have perhaps been a good thing to know in the listing. Could hear walking around and small children fairly early in the mornings, which is understandable. Was just a bit difficult the very first morning after getting in on fairly late flight after travelling 2 days. It was not horrible...

"We stayed for a week at this beautiful property. The view is absolutely unbeatable! It was a delight to look out the window or stand on the huge balcony. The place is extremely clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The downside was the parking which involved backing in on a one way road (for the equivalent to one block). We never figured out the air conditioning on the second floor (meaning some uncomfortably hot nights). We repeatedly tried to contact the owner for three days and...

"It's a great house - particularly if you like an older style home with character. It had everything we needed. We cooked most of the time (7 of us) and the kitchen was fully stocked. The main element on the stove wasn't working - the owner let us know before check in - which we had to work around for some meals but it was manageable. The location was perfect for St-John's - we couldn't have asked for better. The owner kindly left some toys and games for my 5 year old which he loved, as well as a...

"We stayed here last year on Friday night of the Labour day weekend as well. Great place...very quiet, out of the way of the main roads and highways. We have stayed in two different units and both were extremely clean, even clean smelling. Kudos to the housekeeper (we met her last year but I forget her name). The owners are also super nice and friendly. We have two kids, age 4 and 9 and found the place to be very spacious and inviting. Hoping to make this a yearly tradition of staying here Friday...

"I like the homely feel about the place and the fact that it is a heritage building - so, so much more interesting than the usual chain hotels. I have mentioned it to staff but it would benefit from at least one level 2 ev charger as more and more people drive evs and are looking for an overnight charge at their accommodations. The breakfast is unfortunately the usual fare offered by most hotels these days. "
