"we were very happy we choose to stay at the Sunrock guest house, we stayed here twice at the beginning and end of our trip to Mauritius. Everyone is super nice and helpful, we send a What's app from the airport and got promptly picked up, we could store one of our suitcases here during our trip- thanks so much. they serve a buffet in the evening which costs around R250, a free breakfast buffet is included. We arrived both times around noon and it was no problem at all, they even had the rooms...

"The room was very hot. Only 2 x coat hangers in the cupboard. No outside table or chairs to sit on, apart from one that all in the establishment has to use. When I wanted to use it, it was occupied by the staff. Not private at all, people going passed your unit all the time including staff. No one around to let you out when checking out. Place in a dodgy area. During load shedding At 2 am in the morning all the downlighting came on in the room and you couldn’t switch them off, so didn’t sleep....

We were 2 couples that paid a week in advance through Hotels.com, confirmation was emailed and I phoned 3 times to confirm because we were going to arrive a bit earlier because we have a wedding close by. When we arrived they did not want to give us our room keys because they said they did not receive payment.
