"This property offered great value. The room overlooked the garden area and was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Reception staff was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations for things to see and do in the area. The hotel is within walking distance of the Main Street where restaurants and a small store can be found and two hiking trails are nearby. The only downsides were a slightly too firm bed and a bit of road noise. Otherwise, a great stay."

"Oyster Bay Lodge was a great stop on our Garden Route adventure. The road going in from Port Elizabeth was a bit sketchy, but it added to the allure of the hidden gem of Oyster Bay. Wonderful food and dining atmosphere, great walks in the woods, and a private, beautiful white beach. Great pool also. Two nights was not enough!"

"Clean and well maintained. Off of the main strip in the tiny village of Tsitsikamma so not as convenient as other options. Main issue with the place was very low water pressure which means one cannot take a nice shower after a day of activity. No soap or shampoo in the rooms which is consistent with the reality of a lack of water flow."

"Very warm welcome and nice huts In a really wild part of South Africa. Excellent and generously portioned food. Only downside is the drive to get there; the property is a good hour of dirt track off the main road and the drive is hairy. It should be only recommended for people work a utility or 4wd. "
