Alpine Woods cabin close to trails, ski in/out

With a long driveway set back in the woods, the cabin has a very private feel. Located in the small subdivision known as Liberty Woodlands, it's within walking distance to the Methow Valley Community Trail (MCT) along the river and suspension bridge or choose the best trails for you within a short drive. A new ski trail (Devin's Trail) within the Methow Valley Trail system makes the property a ski in, ski out cabin. 2 bedrooms (with luxury, queen American Leather Comfort Sleeper sofa) and 2 full baths, the home features an open floor plan with high ceilings and a large kitchen and island that is great for gatherings. Other features include a river-rock gas fireplace, knotty pine paneling, large wood windows, WiFi, home entertainment system and separate laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Community maintained and plowed flat roads make for easy access to the cabin, especially in winter. Close to Methow River and the Methow Valley Trail system that runs along it, this home is the perfect launching point for all the fun outdoor activities the area has to offer. The cabin is located 3 miles from the Mazama store and 11 miles to downtown Winthrop.

Great Methow Valley Cabin getaway
Everything about this home and location was exactly what we were looking for. We loved the scenery and enjoyed hiking and drives along rivers, out door misic , church, and rodeo in nearby towns, before retreating to this quiet and comfortable cabin in the wooded area.

We completely enjoyed our stay! The neighborhood is quiet, close to ski trails and the home was perfect for 4 adults. Tony was a great host and we would definitely come back again.

What a wonderful cozy place to relax after skiing and cook dinner. The only thing more we would ask for is clearly marked community trail for just short outings. Otherwise it was wonderful and near fabulous Methow Valley trails!

Overall, it was wonderful
Beautiful cabin and very well stocked. Clean and cozy. Checking out at 10 seems a bit early, but we managed. Also, the advertisement claimed easy access to the river. Walking distance. It's over a mile and it seems you'd have to get there through a private road. So that was disappointing.

Beautiful and quiet property. Newer build. Place was very clean and had several extras. Beds were comfortable. 30 min drive to several large trailheads in the cascades along highway 20. We definitely would recommend to our friends and family who visit the area in the future!

Comfortable home for family vacation
The house is clean and comfortable. It was well equipped for our family to enjoy a week-long snow vacation. The gas fireplace is cozy. Appliances are new and worked well. The kitchen has all the basic implements to cook at home. The location is very quiet and close to Mazama and Winthrop trails.

Wind in the pines
The cabin looks just as shown in the photos. It's very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The little community of homes is quiet, and the homes are well spaced -- not too close to each other. This was the second time my wife and I have stayed at Alpine Woods, and we look forward to returning.

The property was very nice and well equipped. It could’ve had some additional cooking spices that would be basics. The major problem we had was with mosquitoes when we tried to sit outside. Overall a great experience.

Very Comfortable Cabin
We have, over the years, stayed in many VRBO properties. This cabin in Mazama was one of the cleanest we have seen. Much appreciated by us. Although we didn't do much cooking, all the pots/pans, knives, etc., were available. I have one suggestion: to have a king-sized bed in the master bedroom.

Very comfortable, good beds, sofas. Only issue was we were unable to get the tv to link with either internet or tv single. Spent hours on it. Needs to have better step by step explanation on how to get it to work

I suggested to the owner they supply steak knives and a knife sharpener and we had a few ants in the kitchen and the number for the cabin is far enough off the road, we drove by it the first time, but aside from that, it's a lovely cabin and we very much enjoyed our stay there. Thumb's up and we'd go back :-)

Perfect Location and cabin
The cabin is prefect for 2 couples or a couple with 2 kids willing to share a bedroom. Plus it's dog friendly & clean! It is spacious and comfortable in the woods. Full size kitchen dining room and living room with tv. Two bathrooms. Utility room with Washer and Dryer. The wooded neighborhood provides a nice quite walk in the morning & evenings. Mazama is close by and the Methow trail system goes all the way into Winthrop. Walk or ride your bike. I would stay here again. Some sharp knives would be appreciated, especially a serrated knife for cutting bread!

We came for the Rhythmn & Blues Festival. This cabin was not far from the venue by car, located in a woodsy neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and would consider renting this cabin again. The beds were a little firm but comfortable enough. Possibly a foam topper would help. The pull-out sofa bed was not comfortable so my daughter just slept on the sofa, which was short but fine. We cooked dinner in the cabin for my husband's Birthday and found the kitchen supplies to be adequate.
