The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. "positives are great receptionist, quick check in and lovely clean rooms, however not the easiest place to find, even with Sat Nav as it's off a relatively new stretch of road and although Google sat nav works, car based ones don't, so use your phone! back to the positives as the hotel can't help new roads! lovely staff, really clean rooms"

"We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. Unfortunately Hotels.com were not especially helpful in changing our booking and we were about to set off so opted to just keep the room. It is at the top of the hotel, 4 flight of stairs up. "This is my second stay at Admiral Cottage. Stayed with my son and two dog Niya and Cooper. Niya been before. She couldn't wait to get into the cottage. Lovely garden for dogs too. Great layout. Comfortable beds. Spacious bathroom. Lovely kitchen and lounge. Had new carpet since our last stay which is great. Warm cosy and comfortable. Enjoyed the wood burner too. Will stay again "

"Wonderful chalet. Had a great Christmas stay in Beachside Cottage. Big dog safe garden overlooking the dunes. Lovely layout of house. Nice and warm and cosy. Cooked our Christmas dinner in the kitchen. Brought the table in from the conservatory to eat it. Bedroom are a lovely size too. Winterton is very dog friendly. Have stayed in Winterton many times. Would stay again in this chalet "
