"We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are modern and really clean and the Inn itself is right in the heart of the forest which was so accessible for all walks. The staff were really friendly and attentive and the breakfast was brilliant and huge! Would totally recommend."

"We had a lovely stay here. So Christmassy but even other times of year so cosy felt homely. Reception was very welcoming room was decorated lovely and really felt like a retreat away from it all. Fires and Christmas trees . We ate in the restaurant and all the food was hot and delicious. Location was very central for village visits and walks it was tough to choose whether to go out for walks or just stay in the hotel and relax. We are already planning our next trip back"

"Lovely hotel, unfortunately had a power outage when we woke up in the morning, not the hotels fault, as it was down the the storm in the area. It would have been a good gesture to have notified us what the issue was and kept us informed. Otherwise, a great stay, comfortable, clean and very convenient."

"I arrived on New Years Eve, but the property hadn't warned me that the only food option was a three course meal at £44.50. Similarly on New Years Day, I went early for dinner at 6.15 to be told the kitchen closed at 6. No one had alerted me to the early closure. They did make me some Tapas. If I had known I would have eaten elsewhere before returning to hotel. The food on New Years Day was excellent, I just didn't want to spend that much money. "

"The Grapes Hotel is a piece from history, and historic hotel connected with historic events that hasn´t had the old doors and woodwork replaced with modern veneer. This is absolutely the real deal. This is the place where at least some of the Titanic crew partied the night away the night of April 9-10, 1912, just before they went on their voyage. And the pub looks like it did. You lay in your room at night listening to the sounds below, and you can almost hear that fateful night, just before...

"Me and my wife loved our stay here. We came for the Christmas market and this was the perfect location with just a couple of minuets walk. Our room was amazing and had everything we needed and more, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was beautiful, one of the best breakfasts we've had and having it served in our room was and very nice touch. We'll be visiting again. "
