"We've stayed at Oakwood a few times and it's always very clean, comfortable and well kept. However, this time we noticed that the air vent on our room was rusty and the flooring was coming loose and made funky slapping noises as we walked around our room. It seems like upkeep has gone a little downhill lately. That's sad to see because we really like staying here."

"This trip was to spend time with my grandson during his spring break. The house was very comfortable and relaxing. We immediately felt at home. Everything we needed was easy to locate. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows. Movie watching on sofa was wonderful with plenty of soft blankets. The dining area was great for games as well as meals. So many little things were thought of for guests such as lotions, Q-tips, and night lights. I would definitely stay here again and recommend...

"We met a group of 4 other friends/couples including 7 kids/teens for a February long weekend. The house was easy to find and there was plenty of parking in the driveway. It snowed 2 nights we were there, and by 10am the sidewalk & driveway had been shoveled both mornings! There was plenty of space for kids to spread out, play games and be loud without affecting the adults (& vice versa). The lake was frozen over during our visit but the view is beautiful & I imagine even more so during warm...
