"If I could rate our stay 10000/10 I would. Staff friendliness and kindness went above and beyond. The cleanliness of the hotel and the room was impressive and the bed made us feel like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was lovely as well. Also it’s a 15 minute walk to Burley Village. "When we arrived at the Griffin, to our surprise, our reservation was canceled. Apparently, the Griffin had a water leak and were in the process of repairing the damage. They said that an email was sent to us canceling our reservations 2 days prior. We were on a cruise at the time and did not get this email because we had no service while on the cruise. It was a very unfortunate situation. We are from the USA and found out upon arrival in England that our cell phones were not working properly so...

I needed to leave earlyish and the time for my breakfast was brought forward. The breakfast was a really good, with plenty of choice and cooked to perfection.
