Lovely stay at The Coppice. Everything explained fully on arrival. Breakfast room, entrance hall, stairs, all lovely, warm and inviting. Room had everything to enhance our stay. Short walk up to Windermere and slightly longer down to Bowness. Hosts excellent.. Would highly recommend.

Good location in Windermere, close to Bowness too. We stayed in Room 1. Big spacious room with piping hot water for the bathtub. It was a little noisy due to the room being at the front of the property with cars. Breakfast was nice, although served pretty early for a weekend 08:15-09:15, forms to be returned evening before. Bed was comfy and room had everything you needed.

Fantastic stay in Windermere

Hotel was clean and spotless. Room had everything we needed in it. We were greeted by the owner and she made us feel at ease straight away. She explained about the area and was very informative about places to eat. Breakfast was beautiful and choice was great. Would definitely stay here again .

We had a lovely stay at the Coppice, Beverly is so lovely. Breakfast was spot on and the service was exceptional. The hotel is around a 15 min walk straight down the hill to the Bowness-On-Windermere with plenty of bars, restraunts and shops around. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

Such an amazing and clean property. The breakfast was delicious. The property is walkable to downtown and the lake as well, just 10 minutes each way. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I spent a weekend at this property. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by Beverley which was really nice. We got shown into our room and it was quite small for our stay, not much room to move around. We woke up in the morning to a sodden windowsill as the condensation was unreal. The blind has mold on it as it must sit in the condensation that pools on the windowsill. The breakfast was quite poor, the sausage was undercooked especially.

We had a lovely stay here over an extended weekend. The owner welcomed us and provided tons of local information. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well positioned, with plenty of private and on-street parking. We stayed in the suite and really enjoyed the huge bath and dual aspect bedroom with easterly morning light. The included breakfast was perfect for setting us up for a day of walking around the stunning countryside. We had a wonderful time.

Excellent location for both Windermere and Bowness, on the main road but very quiet. Hosts were very freindly and helpful, sharing details on local restaurants and transport. Room was exactly as per the photos on the website, breakfast was excellent quality and more than plentiful. Would return without hesitation.

excellent hosts very welcoming and knowledgeable which enhanced our stay. we stayed in room 8 which was lovely only thing for us was the low and slanted ceilings maybe should be in room description and small shower room. we would probably have picked another room to book, however this will not put us off booking again would highly recommend. nice little walk into windermere and not to far to walk down to bowness so a great location. breakfast was lovely, not usually a fan of pre ordering but we had full english both days and again really good quality local produce.
