"The cabin is pristine, and Lori has been so thoughtful in every nook, cranny, and corner of it. The Bose system for music, the already-prepared firewood and starters - hard to list it all but you'll feel how thoughtful she's been as you explore inside. The lack of light pollution is completely true - we actually saw the milky way on the first night, which was mind-blowing. Download a 'stars' app and spot them all while you soak in the hot tub. Pure bliss. Something that really struck me was the lack of *noise* pollution. It is dead quiet out there, which was incredibly peaceful and something I haven't experienced before. It will really impact you (in a good way) if you've never been to a location this remote. Someone mentioned the long gravel road to get there, and that it kind of makes going out a little challenging, but after you drive into town a couple of times, it really isn't bad! Plus there's cows, horses, turkeys, and expansive views to experience along the way :) Oh and you can get insanely good thai food delivered to your door. I mean what is this place?! Do yourself a favor and stay here. Find peace, and pleasure, and balance. You'll love it and you'll miss it."

"Nice one-night stay, carpet in hallways is new and the furniture in my room was also new. As usual the host was very friendly and checked me in quickly. The stay was comfortable and quiet. Nice to see the upgrades since my last stay. Also great location right next door to Mammoth Site and a delicious Mexican restaurant. "

"We were looking for a clean, comfortable, safe and quite rental near the town of Custer, SD and this property fit perfectly. It was located very close to Custer but situated so that it felt more like a stay in the mountains. There were 5 adults in our party and the home fit our group comfortably. We would stay here again."

"Con the manager was very accomidating and seen actively cleaning and doing various things throughout the duration that we were there. I thought I left somthing, so I called and Con was nice enough to go and check the room. If there was anything I ddint particularly care for, it was the breakfast. I feel there could have been a different setup to keep the food warm. Aside from that, beds were comfortablr and the price and hospitality were just what I was looking for!!! Thank you Con Heather-"
