"Before arriving the house caretakers emailed explaining that the shower roller was broken, and the landing lights were not working. An issue as the top of the stairs are tricky with a stair gate and cut away step outside the bathroom. We were supplied with battery operated lights to remedy this. We arrived to find a bottle of Prosecco, milk, tea and crisps which was really nice. The decor was contemporary, beds comfortable, and generally a pleasant environment. "Booked this home while visiting my son at university.Communication with the host was excellent, prompt and courteous. Was given all information upfront, and in writing… And any issues were immediately addressed. The house was extremely clean, on a quiet residential street with practically no noise. Less than a 10 minute walk to the university, and approximately a 10 minute walk into town… For shopping, dining, and sightseeing. Well equipped kitchen, full-size refrigerator…and washing machine...

Close to the city centre, a short bus ride away but if you're feeling up to it you could walk in. The area is quiet.The house was warm and had everything we needed for a weeks stay.Large supermarket a short drive away and smaller shops in walking distance.Any queries were answered promptly.We would definitely return."
