Renovated in 2022, our home is one of dreams. With an open plan living area opening up onto a huge deck with comfy sofas and alfresco dining facilities (including an outdoor kitchen) overlooking a beautiful, private garden and heated swimming pool. (May - Sept) and brand new hot tub for 2024!
We bought the house in early 2022 having fallen in love with the garden. Complete restructuring took place later that year, creating a large 4 bedroom detached house with views to die for.
The new kitchen was installed with all mod coms to allow plenty of preparation area whilst retaining space to enjoy a glass or two with friends. No need for washing up as fully integrated dish washer on hand.
The separate utility offers a washing machine and separate dryer and a separate WC for your convenience.
The downstairs space flows from the kitchen through to the lounge area with multiple seating areas for relaxing and dining.
A huge sofa that seats 10 easily offers views of the garden and TV for relaxing.
The large formal dining table seats 10 with a smaller kitchen table for 4 and the kitchen island seating for 5.
Doors to the hallway can be closed to separate upstairs from down when required.
Upstairs we have 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 1 being en suite. Two of the bedrooms - the duel double and the master king, have plenty of space for a single trundle (supplied on requested), or space for a travel cot (not supplied).
The outside is invited in with a huge deck that stretches the width of the house and is visible through a collection of sliding glass doors and picture windows.
The garden is over 3 levels with the top being the deck with a large sofa, table and outdoor kitchen including a gas BBQ and pizza oven, the swimming pool & hot tub on the middle level and the bottom level has a trampoline for the kids and veg plot for the food lovers.
Parking is plentiful with space for 6 cars.
The house also comes with a self sufficient cat!! Too old for a holiday of her own, you are simply asked to top her water up and give her lots of cuddles! She live downstairs so no furry animals on your beds.
Wimborne market town is a 1 mile walk away via a footpath or the main road, or a few minutes by car.
There you will find a selection of shops, restaurants and cafes, a Waitrose and small Coop.
Less than 5 mins and you are on the A31 which can take you west to Dorchester in 30 minutes, east to Bournemouth in 30 mins, south to Poole in 20 minutes or Southampton in 45. Sandbanks is 20 minutes away and Purbeck and it’s sand dunes are 45 minutes by road (less via the Sandbanks chain ferry). The new forest is on your door step too if beaches aren’t your thing, and we have a fantastic village pub called the Stocks Inn 300m away and lots more a little further.
Dorset is a beautiful county with something to offer everyone.
