The home was very clean and perfect for our needs. The views were fabulous. The only drawback is that the hot tub could use a cleaning. There was a sediment ring at the top of the water and the hot tub interior was very slippery.

Country Retreat

We loved the location of the home. The trick here is to want to be secluded and quiet. We are ranch people and loved having the option to be away from town a bit. I would say you need to be aware to bring everything you will need. That is in reference coffee, tea, basics of anything in the kitchen. None of those items were provided and you do not want to have to make a trip back to town for them. Is a great space for one to 6 persons wanting peace and nature.

Peace and Relaxation

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this location. We love it because of the seclusion and solitude! We enjoy seeing the cattle on the property and it has a wonderful layout.

Perfect escape

We were looking for a place to escape from our daily grind and found the seclusion here to be perfect. The property is beautiful and the house is just a short drive to Wimberly. There is plenty to do in the area and we had a fantastic time.

Beautiful seclusion

Wow, what an amazing property! The mile long drive to the house shows just how isolated it is. Property mgmt skimped on the toilet paper but otherwise a great stay.

Fabulous Weekend

This property was everything we wanted for a relaxing 39th year gathering of high school girlfriends. The hot tub was a fun addition! The house was beautiful and the views was spectacular! It was not too far from Wimberley so it was an easy to run back and forth.

Beautiful seclusion

Beautiful views and zero neighbors, This property sits on top of a hill and off the road down a mile long gated driveway. Very comfortable place. Nice beds and well equipped. Both hot tub and grill worked. Only thing that may put someone off is you have to drive your trash all the way to the road to put in the cans. I would stay here anytime

Great place to relax with friends

We had a wonderful time relaxing with friends at this great property. The area is peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed visiting the nearby barbecue places and bars. Although we did encounter some bugs, such as scorpions and tarantulas, it’s not uncommon to find them in this setting. We made sure not to disturb them, and they didn’t bother us either. We’re looking forward to returning to this location with friends in the future.

Great Girls Trip Location

Great property with wonderful sunsets. We enjoyed the privacy of the large ranch, the hot tub and back patio. Wish we had more time to relax there but WE were out and about Texas Hill Country each day. Nearby Wimberly is so cute and special. The inside of the house is well decorated with spacious rooms. We were amazed by the 1 mile up the driveway to the house and enjoyed seeing the cows roaming around in the morning.

Review of Property

The house and property are beautiful. The road to the house was not expected.. taking bigger vehicles would have been ideal. The cows were not mentioned in the listing and a bit terrifying when they are blocking the gate. Also, the gate to exit wouldn’t work sometimes so we had to figure out other ways to open it. This house was a good experience just would have enjoyed more if we weren’t a group of girls.

Peaceful Place

Very clean, private place to relax. Just what we were looking for and what was expected from available property information. Love the design of the house, great windows. Little drive to town but no problem. Might could use more utensils (4 forks). But easy drive to HEB / Brookshires for groceries. And easy drive to Wimberely Cafe / downtown!

Secluded

Nice home on a beautiful piece of property. Secluded, yet close enough to shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the back patio for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. The GPS coordinates they sent us took us to the wrong gate. We found the correct gate a few gates down (going away from Wimberley). The correct gate has the address of the property on a flat rock at the entrance of the driveway. We will definitely stay here again.

A perfect ranch for our family of four.

We drove across half the country and needed a place to rest before emerging on family. With over 200 acres of privacy, a hot tub with sunsets, outdoor grill, this place checked all the boxes and more. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever slept on. While Wimberely is a lovely TX hill country town, it was hard to leave our house. We will definitely be back! Wifi was not the fastest but given how remote we were, I was expecting much slower.

Perfect Spot

This was a great setup for our family of 4. Out in the county, but only 10 minutes from town. The map is a little off, so you need to look for the street address on the mailbox. The Hot Tube worked great and was ready to go when we go there. We did bring our own firewood, but plenty of places in town to find some. We'll be back!

Girl’s Trip Peace and Quiet

I was notified the evening before my arrival that the jacuzzi wasn’t working. I was very disappointed as that was one of the requirements I was looking for when choosing a property. Best to arrive during daylight as it’s a bit hard to find and very secluded. Peace and quiet.
