"Loved the place but the room we stayed in was on the 3rd floor and not only was there no elevator but the stair case was very narrow and difficult to bring the luggage up. We still loved it and understand the way it is looks better so it’s not a con, just think it’s good to know, specially for people traveling with small children like we did. "

"We came to Trier for the Christmas market and to visit the Roman sites. The hotel was ideally placed for both. There's no restaurant but the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and catered well for a gluten intolerance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking in the underground carpark was fine if a little tight to navigate in a bigger car. The staff were excellent and helpful. They spoke perfect English but humoured our schoolboy German! All round good."

"Wir waren bei unserer Ankunft erschrocken über den Zustand des Objektes! Es ist nicht - wie beschrieben - renoviert und saniert, sondern sanierungsbedürftig. Es war in einem Zustand, dass wir erstmal eine Stunde geputzt und jedes Geschirr, das wir nutzen wollten, gespült haben. Die Spülarmatur war so wackelig, dass wir bei Nutzung Angst hatten, dass sie abfällt. Der Toilettensitz war ebenfalls locker und nicht selber festzuschrauben (was wir versucht haben). "Awesome place, great breakfast. Beautiful area. The playground is fantastic and has a zip line. There is a rail connected right to the property. This is a can't miss for nature lovers and a great home base for exploring the Rhineland palatine area"

"Disappointed that the extra bed was not ready for us despite reception knowing that it was a room for 2 adults and a child at check in we had to go back to reception to get a child’s bed. The hotel says that children stay free, but that was not our experience as my friend had the room next door and she paid less using the same booking platform and we booked at the same time. "
