Great spot if you’re a group looking to party and in great shape to navigate 3+ flights up with an overwhelming smell of fish in the upper hallway( window is open 24/7). We are all physically active but carrying luggage up these flights was not anticipated nor is it handicap friendly. No screens on windows make it unacceptable for children. It is central to all bars in downtown. The apartment is above a bar - restaurant. If a fire erupts in the restaurant kitchen there’s no way for you to get out. You will not sleep. Even after the bands and music are done, the crowd remains outside and at that time are far from quiet. When we inquired with the owner, he noted the description stated we were in the middle of a city. We are from NY, have stayed in NYC and never had an experience as this one as far as people in streets and restaurants below. The description of premises is lacking. There was mold in the ceiling of the bathroom - not just on it. When we raised concerns the owner responded via replies and once with a form letter ( signature notes insert name here) The wifi listed does not exist. The wifi when provided did not work as connection was poor. You cannot utilize any apps on the tv to watch tv. We came home one of the days to burnt plastic smell and smoke filled the main living space of the apartment which raised concern. The host noted they’d look into it. No hot water for the jacuzzi tub. We ran water for 15 min. Unsafe step down from kitchen. Two fell. Low light

Wilmington before NMB
Stayed a few nights on our trip from Maryland to North Myrtle Beach. Really enjoyed the location and the Bourbon Street Restaurant downstairs. Stairs help you not gain as much weight while drinking and eating at all the great places in town.

The penthouse was awesome! The place has a great feel with all the exposed brick and open floor plan. Located right on Front St. you’re walking distance from everything you could want. We would certainly stay here again.

Great if you don't require a lot of sleep! The Bourbon St bar has become a hang out for the homeless after hours. You can hear the conversations below the bedroom windows just as if you were standing next to them. Ear plugs do help. Great location for a fun time downtown! Place is spacious, perfect for 6!

Great property in great location!
The property was perfect for our group! The location was so convenient to walk everywhere we needed to go in the historic downtown area. The property was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The property felt larger than expected and is so unique and spacious. Because of the great location, we could hear the bars at night below us. We knew to expect some bar noise, so it was fine with us. Definitely fun to be in the downtown area!!

Great Apartment
Great apartment. Very cute and clean. Excellent location. Please note that it is above a bar so it is quite loud at night and may not work for someone with young kids or who wants to go to sleep early. However, we traveled for a wedding and it worked very well for our needs.

This property is located right in the heart of Downtown Wilmington, just seconds from restaurants, nightlife and river walk activities. We’ve stayed there multiple times and are excited to come back on our next trip!

Awesome Penthouse
My sister and I stayed here for a few nights in order to go to a concert at the Live Oak. It’s right in the center of the historic district, perfect for walking, eating and shopping. The owners left a bottle of sparkling wine and we got a discount at the restaurant downstairs which was just lovely. We didn’t have a noise issue but we did stay mid-week. Beds were comfortable The place seemed just HUGE to us and we kept remarking that it would be perfect for a larger group. Overall, I think we made the absolute right choice. (If you are elderly or disabled, this place wouldn’t be a good choice. There are a lot of steps)

Great gals weekend, but a few good things to know...
Overall my friends and I had a wonderful time in Wilmington and loved the apartment. Great location, right on the water, and super walkable to all things downtown. The apartment is above a small meeting venue on the second floor and a bar on the ground level. The bar / restaurant has great food and a great atmosphere, but you can hear the atmosphere in the apartment at night... They close at 2:00. If you are a light sleeper or traveling with children, I would highly recommend bringing earplugs. We did happen to be in Wilmington during the final four, and there were lots of UNC and Duke fans having a GREAT time. So it might have been the timing, but I'd recommend ear plugs just in case. We also struggled to find the parking garage, and wound up being slightly consumed with finding places to park and not get a ticket. But that is more of a user error. Daniel and his property manager are extremely easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. We have a challenge of low water pressure, and at one point the water was completely off. Daniel responded almost immediately and his property manager was over to check it out within a half hour maybe less. Again, overall we had a wonderful time. The accommodations are clean and beautiful.

This property is very well located and is close to everything and would make a great place to stay for partying. However, we needed to get more than 2 hours of sleep each night since one member of our party was racing in a 70.3 mile triathlon on Saturday morning. The noise level was high all 3 nights but Friday night the music was so loud and the crowd so rowdy we were not able to sleep hardly at all. The base vibrated all the way to the third floor. Then they have parties on the second floor during the day with loud music and dancing so you cannot even take a nap after being up all night. The pictures show stairs but no where in the description do they state how many. There are 54 stairs. Also, no curtain in the master bathroom. There should be better warnings on the noise and the stairs for sure and the curtains in the master bath really need to addressed.

Great spot in historic district
This was a fantastic location, right in the heart of the historic downtown lots of bars and restaurants right outside. The size of the space was fantastic for a friends weekend. It is loud at night but you can’t beat the location! Thanks for having us.

Amazing decor, care, and location
We were blown away from the very beginning./ The host provided us with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and 25% off the restaurant below us. It is definitely a great place for a bachelorette party, or even a honeymoon spot! Slightly loud on weekend nights but if you're there to party you will not be disappointed. The penthouse was incredibly clean and well decorated. We hope to stay here every time we visit!
