Luca, the host, said she needed 15 minutes to ready things in addition to the "uh, who are you?" greeting. During my stay there were multiple impolite interactions. My favorite was that I needed to drive to town to get dry firewood to run the only source of heat, the wood stove."

My kids were delighted with the little games tucked away under the TV. You can tell every log was cut by hand with little personal touches added here and there over the years . It has Everything ya need and nothin ya don't. Its perfect.
