"The motel itself was great. The neighborhood it's located in was probably great years ago, but there are a lot of homeless people all over, even in the housing areas. It was not a problem, but you feel like you have to be on alert at all times. Our business was far away from all that. On a positive note the motel facilities were excellent. Pool, gym, and were largely unused by anybody, but we checked them out, and they were very clean and modern. "

"We stay here every time we come into Arcata. It is clean and charming, beds are comfy and I love the clawfoot bathtubs in the room. The building is over 100 years old so each room has it's only personality. "
