My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Unit #4. The check-in/check-out process was easy. The unit was as described and very clean. We couldn't hear the other guests in the building. We appreciated the kitchen items and toiletries that were provided.
Some recommendations would be to provide a throw blanket for the couch and some more decor to make the unit more homey. Our biggest gripe is that the mattress was very hard! My husband ended up sleeping on the couch the last night because it was hurting his back too much. If you are a light sleeper, I'd suggest bringing ear plugs as there is a train nearby and the unit is close to the road. I'd suggest switching the direction the refrigerator doors open to make it easier access. One evening we couldn't watch Netflix because too many other accounts were signed in, so perhaps know your own password or add more accounts.
The neighboring house does have two dogs that they let roam and terrorize pedestrians. This is nothing the owner of the unit can control, but mentioning it as a warning.
We enjoyed a walk to the William Arnold Log Home and an antique shop. We wanted to visit Belle's Smokin' BBQ, but they were closed. We recommend Beans Cafe and Bakery in Dry Ridge, just a short drive away.
The unit is just down the road from the Ark. We couldn't believe how convenient it was.
Overall, we'd recommend staying here.
