"The property was lovely, as was the proprietor. In fact it was really special. What was not special was our rooom. We paid a significant upcharge for a nice room with a terrace, but it was just roof of a porch, and not grand or luxe enough to justify the upcharge. The furniture was not original to the historic hotel."

"Super easy to find, very secluded and private. Beautiful location with amazing views, very pretty in the snow. Cabin was super warm and cozy with everything that we needed. The porch was the best part of the cabin, with lights for night time! Very close to the town of Hancock which had great restaurants and a super market and gas station close by. About 30 minutes to Whitetail ski resort which was awesome! "

"We had a nice stay in this charming house. Everything we needed to relax, chat, visit, and cook was available and in working order. The beds were comfortable, the shower water hot, and the house was clean and nicely warm -- especially appreciated on these freezing, snowy days! Would stay again and definitely recommend."
