The Greenhouse: A peaceful retreat minutes from all Williamsburg has to offer

At the Greenhouse you are minutes to everything Williamsburg has to offer; Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Water Country, the College of William and Mary, Yorktown Battlefield, local wineries and breweries, and restaurants galore!

Our house is set on a spacious, private location while still being just a few miles away from all the great attractions. There is plenty of room for a family to spread out as well as rooms to gather together. Enjoy being outside- you may even catch a glimpse of some deer, turkeys, and other wildlife and spend time cooling off in the private pool (open seasonally).

Inside there is a game room with a poker table and board games, fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, and a washer and dryer. Everything to make your vacation as easy and relaxing as possible.

The Pet Resort at Greensprings is located right next door. Ask for availability for Doggy Daycare so you can enjoy a longer day away without having to worry about your pets.

Fabulous Easter Weekend

Williamsburg Weekend Getaway
Upon entry this home is beautiful and goes on and on! There are several spaces to relax and enjoy quiet time to relax or enjoy family time. The beds are very comfortable and the grounds are fun to meander around after a day at Williamsburg. We highly recommend this place for a family and pets too!

We had a good time in the Greenhouse. The house was clean, well-equipped and conveniently located in the historic triangle. The owners were friendly and responsive and let us have an early check-in. I recommend this house.

Very comfortable house
Many different sitting areas both inside and out. Very nice pool. Well equipped kitchen. Pet resort gets noisy once in a while but doesn’t last long. We enjoyed our time there.

Holiday family trip
We had such a great time at the property. It was lovely and well appointed. Easy drive to Williamsburg and surrounding areas. The dog kennel next door was quiet at night. We had trouble cooking a big meal in the oven but that was a minor problem.

Happy family time at the Greenhouse
Lovely home, beautiful area, away from it all while being so close to Williamsburg and Jamestown. We met Jill and Jeff when we checked in and right away they made us feel so welcome.The house has everything and you need and the hosts really paid attention to every little details to make you feel welcome. We had a wonderful family time there and cannot wait to go back, maybe in summer to try the pool! Thank you Jill and Jeff!

Best, most relaxing vacation!
I’ve never felt more relaxed and more at home while on vacation than at this property. The owners were super communicative throughout the whole process, and included plenty of info on the surrounding area. The property itself is way more than I could have hoped for - spacious rooms, welcoming atmosphere perfect for friends and families, cozy living spaces, and a great game area. The pool was perfect and everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We loved every second and will for be back in the future!

Really enjoyed this property! Jill welcomed us with a lovely bouquet in the kitchen which is well stocked with good appliances, utensils, paper towels and lots of room. The sun room opens onto the patio area around the pool with three different seating areas, tables and a fire pit. This home is close to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. The area has several good restaurants and grocery stores. It was quite a perfect setup for us!

What a privilege to get to stay at the Greenhouse. When we arrived we felt like we were staying with family, as we felt incredibly well taken care of. The house had everything we needed and then some! There is so much to do in the surrounding area but our teens loved the house and pool so much, they were often eager to get back early to enjoy the place! Skip the local resorts and stay here for your next vacation, you won’t regret it. The location is only about 15 minutes from everything and the peace and quiet, all made it worth it!

Nice place
The location wasn't too far away from civilization but is pretty remote. Water pressure in the master bathroom is terrible and lost power for 12 hours after a storm. But the pool is nice. The dogs next door bark in the morning but it wasn't a deterrent. The house is comfortable.

Perfect House
What a wonderful place to stay in Williamsburg. We were 3 couples and the home was perfect for us. I highly recommend for anyone!!! The pool was closed for the season but if you came in the summer the pool and surrounding patios are beautiful. I am sure I will stay there again when family comes into town!!!

Plenty of Room!
We enjoyed our stay. It was a good location for visiting Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown areas. The house is clean, and has a well stocked kitchen. Also plenty of extras so no need for running to the store when you arrive. The house was a little hard to find, but once we did we didn't have any trouble afterward. The owner was responsive and checked on us after arrival which was appreciated.

Better than I could have imagined!
Property and home was fantastic with the perfect amenities for a family getaway. Family provided board games, poker table and floats for the pool. It was so hot in Virginia when we visited so the pool was the highlight of our trip. The rooms were nicer and more spacious than the pictured - the whole family (dogs included) had the best time. The property is adjacent to a pet resort so be prepared for some barking in the morning next door, but as pet owners we loved it (natures alarm)! I would recommend this property to anyone!

All that and then some!
Clean, spacious, beautiful! This home made us feel away from it all in a private country home, although it was 10 minutes away from it all. When we arrived there were fresh flowers at the entrance and kitchen. The place was well stocked with nice dishes, pots & pans & utensils. The little details and extras were a nice touch. The pool did not disappoint! My family and I had a great stay!

Quiet weekend retreat
This was a nice quiet location for a weekend getaway.The home was clean and comfortable, the backyard delightful (if only it were a touch warmer, we would have enjoyed the pool!), the kitchen well-stocked with tools,the beds comfortable. We were a touch worried about the dog boarding facility, but you can really only hear the dogs barking around meal time and it stops pretty quickly. The only caveat I give is be sure to read the description carefully, because they're upfront that the fourth bed is in the bonus room and is actually a sofa bed, but if you're not looking for that, you can easily overlook it. Would rent again.

FANTASTIC!
What a fun house this is! It was the perfect place for all of us, visiting from Western New York. We had a wedding, and the venue was just 1 mile down the road—& everything else was within minutes! Being out of the traffic on that private road was the cherry on top. The hosts were super easy to get a hold of, and the house was big enough for all of us and our dogs—we wanted to stay longer! Wish it was a little later in the season to enjoy that pool, but the weather was amazing all weekend so we WERE out on the back patio area a lot. We highly recommend this beautiful home😍

Wonderful
My husband and I and our doggie loved our stay. The house was beautiful, clean, and organized. Super comfortable. We loved the location at the end of the road, next to the doggie daycare. We absolutely loved seeing the dogs being dropped off in the morning and picked up at the end of their day. The pool was so relaxing and refreshing. I could have spent every day just floating around, but we did see some of the historical sites, including Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown Settlement. Jill and her husband were super nice and easily accessible, with quick responses to our questions. If we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely come back!

Incredibly wonderful
Not only was Jill incredibly helpful and responsive, the house and surrounding area was beautiful. I stayed with my family - two adults and three kids - and there was more than enough room for everyone. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and a blender and snowcone maker really made it fun. Highly recommend!
