Enjoy an intimate experience with nature and all the amenities of a luxury resort yet only minutes away from Traverse City's finest restaurants, beaches, wineries, shopping, and golf. Only 3 miles from the Great Lakes Equestrian Show (also called Traverse City Horse Show) and 1.5 miles from Turtle Creek Casino.

Our dome-homes have 780 sq. ft. of living space with majestic views. That's over twice the square footage of an average hotel room. The dome-home is spacious with a 13' tall ceiling. Enjoy a private bathroom complete with a bathtub/shower, vanity, & toilet, kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, & hot plate. AC & Heat.

Geodesic Dome Home #6 sleeps 4 adults (or 5-6 with children) and features a massive, handcrafted king-size barnwood bed that is positioned to provide incredible views of the surrounding pristine forest. A dividing wall separates the bedroom spaces. On the backside of the wall is a handcrafted timber frame twin-over-twin bunk bed strong enough to hold two adults (or 3-4 children). There is a living room space with two chairs and a coffee table. There is a private, indoor bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom has a full-size tub and shower.

Outside you will find a second bathtub. This outdoor bathtub is private and positioned so you can enjoy a relaxing bath while listening to the relaxing sounds of nature. In addition, there is a private firepit, barbeque, and hammock. We provide one complimentary bundle of firewood for each day booked.

With 75 acres of private land surrounded by state land on three sides, you will have access to miles of trails for hiking and birding. Pine, cedar, spruce, and cherry trees provide a natural privacy barrier from neighboring accommodations. Neighboring accommodations range from 80' to 200' away. Please be careful driving in or out in the evening as there is an abundance of deer and other wildlife in the area. We seek to provide you with a unique, intimate interaction with nature, yet you are only a few miles away from the best of Traverse City.

NOTE: Our resort has nine (9) additional geodesic dome-homes. If this one does not have the desired dates available, or you would like an additional dome-home for a friend or family member, check out our other listings. Also, those domes listed with an extra bed - the beds take up minimal space. Each dome still has all the amenities for a wonderful vacation.
