"This facility is an older building that has been relatively well maintained. All appliances functioned although the refrigerator was old and ran continuously. City water has a mild sulpher taste and guests are offered bottled water for drinking. We didn't try the morning breakfast, but went to a really nice coffee shop a block away. Bed was comfortable and there were bedside tables with reading lamps. For a small, rural town, this is a decent place to stay. "

"A good stopover for birders! After our fun birding day, we wanted a simpler stay for our 3rd night of our Northern Migration, and this was a "just right" nice find. It's exactly as promised: nice clean room with comfortable king bed and pillows. Reception was professional and pleasant. Other guests were respectful and pleasant. The next morning I had a nice chat with the owner's wife, talking of all they had done to keep the place clean and in working order, even to keeping the back windows...

"Great location, and home is very clean. Just as described and seen on the photos. It was perfect for our family of 6. I'm not sure I would recommend for greater than 6 even though it can sleep more. Airbeds are provided but there is limited space to set them up. And only one shower. If you dont mind those conditions, it is a comfy and clean home right on the lake. "
