"We were in the area for a funeral so just needed a place to sleep and unwind. Definitely small but served our needs - the driveway is extremely steep. If you have anyone in your party with mobility issues I would not recommend this property. Beds are very firm - couch was more comfortable! All in all it worked fine and was lovely to be on the water."

"This cabin was great! The inside was clean, cute and the beds slept great!! We totally enjoyed the outdoor space. The fire pit was great in the evening as was sitting on the front porch in the morning. There was lots of space to park our pickup and trailer. I highly recommend this property!! "

"Loved the location, close to the trails. Cabin was very clean and beds were comfortable. We did run to the dollar store to buy a frying pan. If you plan on doing very much cooking bring your own set of pots and pans. It would also be nice if there was a griddle."

"I stayed here with 9 of my friends and we very much enjoyed the broad common space with a pool table, bar and great TV and couches. We also appreciated that no one had to share a bed and that plenty of ATV routes were nearby. Highly recommend this place!"

"Spent 3 nights here with some old friends and did some grouse hunting in the area. This cabin was awesome for our needs. Super comfortable and great sleeping arrangements for our group of 4. Beautiful location with a nice back deck to have a drink, watch the sunset, and recap on all the birds we missed. The only negative was the amount of flies (both alive and dead). But we’d definitely consider this place again. "

"A great hostess! Big two-story house on the lake with plenty of room for parking. (Map directions out in advance because cell coverage is weak or nonexistent, but house has wifi.) Colorful fall trees. Easy walking area. Walked to the dam, the campground, the scout camp, etc. Took kayaks out for a quick paddle. Enjoyed watching the herons and eagles on the lake. Master upstairs bed-bath suite is immense, with shower. Second bathroom upstairs is only a tub — no shower. Watch out for odd step...

"Really enjoyed our time at the Copper Cabin. It had all that we needed. Close to restaurants, nature and perfect spot to visit our extended family in the area. We flew in to the Twin Cities from NYC and the drive was so easy. We will definitely be back."

"We had six adults staying, and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with pots and pans and dishes, but no potholders. There were plenty of beds to choose from. It was lacking in comfy chairs in the family room (just one couch), and there were no chairs to use on the deck. The biggest complaint was we had to take our garbage with us on checkout or get charged for leaving it. Overall, it was a quiet location and a nice place to stay."

"Over all the stay was good. The location to the ATV trails were great. The cabin was fine, you can tell it is just a rental property. It wasn’t anything fancy, the beds were ok, the couch was small for how many people it sleeps and there were hundreds of lady bugs in the cabin, but given the price we got what we paid for. "
