"The house was an ideal setting to see in the new year. The area has lots of interesting walks and cycling routes. The hosts provided plenty communication ahead of the booking and accomodated for our youngest guest (1 year old). The property could benefit from a few more kitchen essentials (bin bags, dish clothes etc), but this a wasn't major issue. All in all, a really nice stay."

"We had a wonderful week with our children and dog in this beautiful farmhouse. The location is incredible - 2 miles up a disused railway track - a brilliant spot to do nothing but walk, swim and watch the house martins swoop for the midges and build up their mud cup nests below the eaves."

"Very pleased with the size of the rooms . The lounge had enough seating for all of our party (11) and the large dining table was excellent. The bedrooms were roomy, including a couch as well as beds. The only downside was the 3 bathrooms were some distance away. A toilet at either end would have been more practical. "Park Cottage is set in a lovely location in Cally Woods (so many great walks and cycle opportunities). Also with use of the Cally Palace Hotel facilities including the swimming pool. However the house was unclean, especially the kitchen with unusable pans and not enough cutlery to sit 9 people in one setting. There was black mould on the downstairs bathroom ceiling. "The property is lovely. The problem is the listing on Vrbo does not explain the pricing correctly and our full party details were not passed on . Resulting in us having pay extra money the day after we arrived . And the cottage is not worth that amount of money."
