"We returned to the cottage after our first stay last year because it was so lovely and comfortable. This time we also used the cottage next door for our grandchildren, who absolutely loved it. The cottage itself is in a great rural location but nevertheless only 10 mins drive from a supermarket and Freshwater Bay if you need a takeaway or food. It's also just a quarter of a mile from a bus-stop to Newport in one direction and Yarmouth in the other (if you don't have a car) so therefore ideal...

"We were very lucky with the weather which helps but we love the area as there is always something to do. The cottage was spotless and has all amenities (apart from washing machine no space ) and there was a very nice cake awaiting us as well as tea ,coffee and milk . Parking was fine on quiet street and the garden is a delight. The owner kindly reminded us about the steep stairs but we managed as we did with downstairs bathroom. Overall highly recommended for a relaxing stay in New Forest."

"lovely place but was so dirty not one clean plate / cup/ pan in oven with dirty fat in cob webs on cob webs they been there so long they gone dark in colour they hanging of the walls ,we sweep floor there was so much long black hair wasnt ours iv got no hair and my dads very short grey .broken loo seat not good for disabled dad iv stay in a lot of hol homes never send one so dirty "

"Lovely quiet location"

"Stayed for afew days for a wedding, our stay also included New Years eve. The cottage was perfect for the 4 of us with more space than we were expecting. We had a great time playing games and sitting round the log fire talking. The wi-fi was also good which was great for streaming movies etc. The weather was a bit wild when we were there so we didnt get the most from the walks that are on the door step. Good communication from Susie throughout our stay. Would certainly stay again. "

"My husband and I had a wonderful short break with our dog in this beautiful property. Spacious, light and well-equipped. Stunning bathroom, great kitchen and the wood burner and underfloor heating meant we were warm and cosy on a frosty weekend. Within easy reach of beautiful West Wittering beach, Chichester and the fabulous Runcton Farm Shop. Laura was very helpful, especially when we encountered problems with the boiler and she ensured it was rectified promptly. Thank you."
