"The room was excellent with a surprising amount of space, clean and all the usual amenities you'd need. It was nice and quiet as it could be considering the adjacent road. Both dinner options in the pub and breakfast in the restaurant on the other side were delicious with plenty of choice. At every stage the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. "Stayed here after visiting Chatsworth House, the staff were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Our room had been upgraded to a suite, which was a pleasant surprise. We ate in the bar, as we weren’t particularly hungry, again good, attentive service, and the bar snacks ordered were very enjoyable. We would return and also recommend Peak Edge Hotel to others. "

Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area. "
