It is with a great sense of gratitude and excitement that I am writing this review, just as I return home from our stay in this beautiful property. It is a bit long, as words are not enough to share our short, but fantastic experience.
We were a party of 10, looking to break up the long drive from Florida to Michigan. Having been to Gatlinburg a few times, we decided on Chattanooga. Browsing through rental properties on Vrbo, this looked like the perfect place to unwind in the midst of nature. We couldn't have made a better decision.
From booking to checking out, everything was a breeze, and the first time we stepped out of the car and looked around.....we were totally blown away!
Nestled in a beautiful valley, this property offers a stunning view of the Tennessee River, and the hills that embrace it, with a broad grassy shoreline that is perfect for gorgeous photographs, even for the most amateur photographers, because it is naturally saturated with colors.
The house is neat, and well laid out. We were 3 families, and so, having 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms were great. The teens loved their privacy in the room with bunk beds.
We were lucky to enjoy a thunderstorm from the rocking chairs in the balcony, listening to the crickets and the frogs, singing in harmony.
We found amenities, even beyond what was described. The best was, the fibreglass canoe, which we took across the river, thanks to experienced friends in the group.
But what topped of our stay, was a chance meeting with gracious hosts, Rebecca and Warren, and their lovely kids. Their hospitality was not just in words! When they learnt that our kids had not been on a speedboat, Warren took them on a joyride of their lives on the river. Upon return, he insisted on us, adults, not miss out on the experience, and took us on an exhilarating ride down the river.
They really were SUPERHOSTS, who went above and beyond, to give us more than just a place to unwind from the tiring roadtrip; in fact they made this short stay into a memory to cherish. Coupled with a quick trip to Ruby Falls and Incline Railway, one in the group summed up this stay by exclaiming that, he had actually forgotten about the expensive cruise we had to the Bahamas 2 days ago!
Will surely be recommending Rebecca,'s and Warren's coziest cove in the most mesmerizing Valley to our friends and family.
Thank you Rebecca and Warren, for helping us create a wonderful memory!
