You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Deer Run Cabin Suite

(Edit: We first began renting our guest suite in 2020, but recently, VRBO began an add campaign which states that all VRBO rentals include the entire cabin. While our cabin will be exclusively yours (meaning: no one else will be on the property), you only have access to a portion of the cabin. This is mentioned below, but we want to clarify:))

Our lovely log cabin is located high atop a scenic ridge in between the small towns of Jasper and Whitwell and is only 25 miles from downtown Chattanooga.

The quaint guest suite has its own private entrance on the main level, and downstairs (with outdoor access), there is additional space with a large sofa and an additional queen bed (optional upon request), to watch television or just unwind and enjoy the view... There's also a laundry room on this level.

We provide a mini-fridge stocked with breakfast food (a homemade breakfast quiche) and a delicious bread/snack/fruit basket. A fully stocked coffee station is also on the main floor, and a small cooking station is available on both levels, as well as a large outdoor fire pit/ grill and a smaller Coleman gas grill.

Note: As the sole occupants, you are renting a section of the home, not the entire home, so be assured that you will have complete privacy. If you desire to rent the entire cabin for an additional charge, please contact us.

There are many nearby activities. Our cabin is located only 8 miles from the beautiful Tennessee River at Nickajack, and we're a short 13-mile drive to Foster Falls.
Besides being close to Chattanooga, with an abundance of adventures to the east, we're 32 miles from scenic Monteagle Mountain to the west.

During the fall and winter seasons, our place truly has "a million dollar view."
Overlooking the beautiful Sequatche Valley, you can see breathtaking sunsets as the sun descends beyond the Appalachian Mountain range.
Our cozy cabin is private and serene and is ideal for that romantic getaway or much needed personal retreat. Situated on three acres and surrounded by nature's beauty, our guests have loved the "peace" they experience during their stay. We think you will as well... ❤

We stayed here while visiting Chatanooga. Everything was wonderful! It was super clean and in a bed nice neighborhood. The room had everything we could need. The owner even had a breakfast quiche and a snack basket waiting on us when we arrived! We would stay again! Highly recommend!

Great little cabin with a wooded view from the large back deck. Alexa was a nice and helpful surprise. Was served tasty breakfasts and the small kitchen was well stocked. The best part of our stay was our host who truly has the gift of hospitality-she was available, knowledgeable, helpful and always responsive. She made our stay their perfect.

Lovely stay
Thank you Amy for a lovely stay in your cabin. The quiche, stocked refrigerator and basket of snacks were a lovely and much appreciated treat. My favorite part was sitting in a rocker on the back porch watching for birds. Was very excited to see two pileated woodpeckers. A real treat for me!! It would have been nice to have a proper kitchen sink in which to wash dishes, but there were ample appliances to prepare food/drinks and we were very happy overall. The bed was comfy it is very private with no one overlooking the property and it’s in a lovely area. We took 41 south into Chattanooga avoiding horrible I24 traffic. Also went to Foster Falls which was lovely. Would definitely recommend this property.

Cornbread Fest
We were just looking for a close place to stay to visit cornbread fest. We felt extremely comfortable here with our 2 dogs. They loved the fron and back yard and walking thru the quaint neighboorhood of Tanya Lane. The neighbors were great and even helped us when we locked our phones and keys in the car--on a Sunday. Would def stay again.

Absolutely perfect place to rest
Couldn’t be happier with the host , Amy made sure we were comfortable and taken care of in any way. She even brought us breakfast in the morning and checked with us every night making sure we were happy. Nice Guest Suite
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this nice Guest Suite in Whitwell, TN. The room was clean and the hostess was so hospitable and welcoming (she brought us a delicious quiche and cookies). Check-in was a little confusing but our hostess was accessible and things were settled quickly and easily. We enjoyed exploring the small towns of Whitwell, Jasper, Tracy City and Monteagle. Nice quiet, comfortable place to rent. There was everything we needed and more than we needed, and much appreciated. Had great quiche waiting for us for breakfast, juice, drinks. One thing would be nice, though, an ice maker or ice cubes available. We didn't cook at a rental house very often at all, so we didn't need an extensive kitchen for just the two of us. The cabin is a doable drive from town (equidistance from Whitwell and Jasper), crazy road in off the highway! Amy is very accommodating and her and her husband rescued us late one night in the rain as the door wouldn't open. It was lovely to meet you both and your help was sure welcome. Thank you for a lovely spot to rest our heads.

We had a nice time being away from the city - the space was clean and tidy with a beautiful view. The weather was perfect for a long fire too. And there was a quiche and breakfast food. IT was like being at a B&B but on your own schedule.
