This cozy home was perfect for a quick getaway to the mountains. it was very clean and well-appointed and the hot tub was great. The location was close enough to stores but far enough that we didn’t see any neighbors.

Cabin in the woods
The property was as expected with the exception of the outdoor upper steps. They were sawed off and laid down in a disconcerting way. We appreciated the Christmas tree, the kitchen a bit short on plates and glasses. Most of all the faucet in the upstairs bathroom was extremely hard to turn on. I had to get help. Lastly one of our members reported that the hand soap pump had a broken pump in the upstairs bath. Over all we liked the cleanliness and the views are wonderful. 15 minutes to downtown Bryson City was good as we came to take the kids to the Polar Express.

Great property - convenient location between the casino and Bryson City. The house needs some maintenance but it’s laid out well, has plenty of room, and has everything you need.

Beautiful home maintained with a lot of attention to detail
We had two families (4 adults and 4 kids) stay here and we had a great time. The location is perfect. The hot tub is awesome and the pool table kept the kids busy when we were home. The host was always available to answer questions and they do a wonderful job of stocking everything you will need so kudos to their thoughtful attention to detail. We wholeheartedly recommend this place for a relaxing vacation.

Lovely cabin with great views of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. Nice living space, reasonable kitchen with all basic needs. Great location for access to the National Park - The 3 waterfalls loop at Deep Creek was especially fun. Also paddled my SUP in the lake beside the estate. Very clear instructions and good communication

Amazing views in a modern but yet rustic cabin! Can't wait to go back!!
Best views around and close to everything. The cabin is just perfect, fire pit outside, jacuzzi....with lights that change color, 3 levels inside and enough room that 3 families weren't on top of each! Modern furnishings, huge TV downstairs with a pool table, very clean with porches and rocking chairs that make you want to just sit, rock and look at the views!!! Great between-seasons stay
This is a fantastic location for anyone looking to explore the surrounding area in any direction. Convenient to nearby dining but also reasonable drives to some great outdoor places of interest or “hiking” locations or a quick jaunt to Asheville or a skip over to the casino in Cherokee. Has everything you’d need while you’re there and several things you wouldn’t think of until you did! One of the better-equipped kitchens we have seen, which is even more impressive given its size. Very pleased. Would look here first if/when we return to the area in the future. It was very comfortable and clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our week.

great stay with only one issue
Great views, clean, comfortable beds and I had a great time being there with my 2 sisters and niece and friend. The owner was great and easy to deal with and helpful. The only negative is that the table only seats 4 and we had 5 so someone had to sit on the sofa or someone where else. Not another chair could be found and the table is small. So 4 nice bedrooms with queen beds but no place to serve them. Highly recommended for 4 person stay.

Nice Property for our family vacation
Property itself is very nice for a rental. Back sliding door does not lock so did not feel secure but I had my pup with me so wasn’t overly concerned. The road to this house is not for the faint at heart. The driveway is straight down a sharp hill - I would not want to be there in bad weather. ***Property owner is very attentive and will answer promptly. Overall, I would recommend if you aren’t worried about road access.

Gorgeous Location and Features but some nitpicks
Overall an excellent place. 4 full size beds, nice hot tub, pool table, huge TV and blu-ray player downstairs, cable, large dining room table and adequate kitchen. Some nitpicks/updates I would like to see: New carpet or carpet deep cleaning, restock kitchen utensils (had to buy our own measuring spoons, etc), ideally would have more than 1 pool cue, towels are pretty low quality. Stairs steps are shallow and step diameter front to back is short, so they can be a bit awkward to navigate (take your time and hold the hand rails).

This cabin was everything we thought it would be and more.
The cabin was decorated for Christmas including a Christmas tree. The rooms were spacious so we all had plenty of room. We loved the three levels with each level having at least one bedroom. The hot tub felt fantastic. The beds were the most comfortable I ever slept on. We took all our own food and amenities, but they provided anything we might have forgotten. The only different we would've liked would have been a fireplace.!!! We will definitely be staying here in the future. The couple who owns the house were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Thank you for opening up your beautiful cabin.

Personal Touch
Pros: Entering the rental felt like coming home. The owners do a very good job making you feel welcome in their property. From little things like a personal chalkboard greeting to a welcoming gift. The cabin is very quint and decorated beautifully. Most of the paintings in the home are actually painted by Sarah (she is very talented). We chose this rental for several reasons. One was location. The property is close to several areas of interest. You are within 5 to 10 minutes from Bryson City (GSR), NOC (white-water rafting) and our favorite Cherokee. Another reason was space. We have a large family and the four bedrooms/three floors was perfect. We had quality time together and still space for "alone" time. Cons: The cabin, community, is located on one-lane gravel roads. I cannot imagine driving on these if the other cabins had been occupied. Driving down to the river was an ordeal. It took us at least 5-10 minutes to get to the water but we still enjoyed kayaking several times.
