"We needed a quiet little break and didn't want to deal with airlines or a long roadtrip. This cottage just outside Weatherford was just right. It was an easy one-hour drive fron North Dallas; secluded, but just 15-minutes from casual shopping and plenty of dining options. We enjoyed the onsite pool and tranquility garden, both of which were nicely cooled by great treelines. The pool is within view of the hosts' home. However, we only saw them come and go and hardly knew they were there. There's boating and other outdoor activities within reasonable distances and the Chandor Gardens are well worth a visit. We highly recommend this location for a casual escape."

"This is our second time staying at this sweet farmhouse. The renovations and decor of the house are precious. We will always stay here when we come and visit our grandkids in Weatherford. Much better than a hotel! We had our grandkids stay over one night (ages 3 and 6). They loved the little room with the twin beds, running around the yard, swinging on the front porch swing and blowing bubbles on the back porch."
