The Old Bakery is a beautiful 2 bedroom holiday home with the charm of the original building such as the high ceilings to let lots of light in and open brick work. Centrally situated in the high street but set back, nestled between 2 shops and a short walk to the beach. The cottage has a downstairs bathroom, open plan kitchen diner and stunning brick work front room with smart TV that leads onto a secluded patio courtyard with outside dining.
You check in using a key box code. I am however local to the area, so if you need anything or have any questions, I am only a phone call away and a short drive!
Centrally located but tucked away behind some of the many shops Whitstable has to offer. There are lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from, cooking up the wonderful local delicacies, such as fresh fish from the historic working harbour. The road to the beach or a spot of tennis is just round the corner from the property.
You have access to all areas in the property.
The modern bathroom off the entrance hall comprises of a WC, basin and a shower over bath, perfect to soak away after a day of exploring. The open plan fully equipped kitchen seats 4 people comfortably at the dining table which makes it a great entertaining place. Walk through the large archway to the comfortable living room which looks out to the french doors to the courtyard, perfect for eating alfresco. The 2 bedrooms upstairs have a double and twin beds.
There is free street parking on the roads off Oxford Street but directly outside the property there are double yellow line. The nearest paid parking is Shaftesbury Road car park and on the weekends and school holidays there is a charity car park a couple of doors down at the primary school. You can view the charges on the Canterbury City Council website. Parking can be limited in the high season but once you have parked up, you are close enough to walk into town, beach, shops etc.

There are frequent buses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury. You will find bus stops along Harbour Street, High Street, Oxford Street etc.
The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London. Whitstable Train Station is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre.
Whitstable Taxi services are available for short fares or airport runs.
The nearest airports are in London and the nearest Ferry port is in Dover.
