Nice and clean but bugs inside
We stayed 2 nights at this property for a graduation party in our family. We arrived late and left early each day due to our schedule. We found the beds on the upper level to be very comfortable and the bathroom equipped with plenty of towels, toilet paper and soaps. The place is newly remodeled and clean however, we encountered too many bugs in the VRBO. This made it very uncomfortable for my adult daughter who slept in the lower level. She found bugs in her bunk bed and on her body upon waking each morning and we killed more than 20 bugs in the lower level. I found and killed 8-10 bugs on the upper level as well. Perhaps the windows and doors need to be sealed better. Sadly my sister choose not to stay with us because of this issue. The water pressure in the kitchen is also very low however did not seem too low in the bathroom and shower.

The house and area are very nice. Much more room than we needed for my family of 4. Easy access to the lake and state park. Host was helpful and friendly. Would stay again.

A Whitewater Gem
My husband and I were looking for a different kind of stay while we were celebrating with our youngest son as he graduated University of Wisconsin Whitewater. We have been visiting him during his time here and usually staying at hotels close to the area. We decided to try to find a place that was more relaxing and large to have family in for the graduation. What a gem we found with this property!!! Relaxing, comfortable, close to the water and lovely walks around the neighborhood. Much love and attention to detail shows in everything. Everything you would need in the kitchen, games, towels and even wood for a fire in the firepit. We spent a lot of time just visiting and relaxing on the balcony. Whitewater is close to almost everything really. We even spent a day at the Milwaukee Zoo to celebrate Mother's Day. This would be a place to seek out if you want to be close to much and have a relaxing time too!

An amazing getaway
The house has been beautifully remodel with up to date finishes. It was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. This was a short trip but we look forward to coming back again soon to enjoy the house and the all that the lake and Whitewater have to offer. Our next stay will be longer and we plan on bringing friends!

Peaceful Place, Great Location
Very clean, comfortable, peaceful and quiet place just right for our visit - a block off a lake and convenient to all the different places/towns we visited for meals out and for the UW Whitewater football game/family weekend we came in for. Host was very nice; we didn’t need to contact for any issues but they were very informative in giving us the info we needed to check in and responsive to our general we got here/we’ve now checked out messages. Would definitely reserve again if we come back.

What a nice property!
I would say if anything, the property listing downplayed how nice the property was. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of amenities, and the furnishings were very nice. I was worried about the closeness to neighbors, but it was very peaceful sitting out by the fire ring. Very nice deck with a small view of the water which I did not expect and was a nice surprise. Short walk to the water, took a morning stroll to listen to the water lap on the shore. This was a destination for a wedding so the stay was short, but I'm glad I looked it up and would love to stay longer some day.
