This place is perfect for anyone wanting to get away from it all and relax. The furnishings and equipment make the most of its size. Kitchen supplies were outstanding. Screened and open decks allowed us to thoroughly enjoy the great weather. Fire ring with plenty of good firewood were icing on the cake. We highly recommend!
The cabin was beautiful, extremely clean and taken care of. I loved that there was plenty of extra blankets, pillows, dishware, games, etc. - we had everything we needed and more. The host was friendly and professional. When I had a question they were helpful and responded quickly. Great location and easy to find, the whole process from booking to check-in/check-out was seamless. We would love to book this cabin again in the future. Highly recommend!
All went smoothly. The place was warm and comfortable. The only negative was thegas fireplace. It wuit working and was unable to reignite the starter. I think the propane tank ran empty
We loved the cabin! This was a last minute addition to our trip itinerary and we could only stay one night. But we’ve booked marked it for a future return trip.
My husband and I finished off our honeymoon here and it was the perfect way to relax before heading home! Everything was super clean and the location was off the road and nice and private. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!
This property was exactly as listed. It was very comfortable and cozy. Everything was super clean. The owner was also available if needed. The location was very good, and there was a cafe which served breakfast and lunch with a very welcoming staff. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
I was thoroughly impressed with this cozy spot.
Well-cared for on the outside and spotless on the inside. It's perfect for two but the loft offers a bit of extra space.
There's everything you need for a pleasant getaway: privacy, comfort and quiet
Very nice place to stay, the sign out front that says 'Cozy Hideaway' is an understatement. Who needs a 400$ a night hotel room when places like this are available? The relaxed atmosphere of the place plus the beautiful views of the mountains made for a perfect couple days stay. Will definitely come back again.
Cozy hideaway is a very well planned tiny house. It has a great screen porch, is very private, and met our needs. We stayed three nights, biked the Virginia Creeper Trail, hiked the Whitetop trail as well as part of the AT. We cooked all of our meals and found EVERYTHING we needed for food prep. Brad is a great host! We are planning a return trip in the fall.
We loved our stay at this adorable cabin while visiting Grayson Highlands State Park. It was clean and had everything we needed. Our kids loved the little loft area! We hope to return and spend more time at this cozy hideaway!
Our granddaughter picked this for her graduation spring break but nana had just as much fun! Easy access to AT and Virginia Creeper. Sunset on whitetop was great and wandering around Mt Rogers was fun. Hope to return.
I had a great stay at this property. It’s small, but not in a bad way. Very well appointed and had everything you’d need. The fireplace makes for a relaxing stay.
Fireplace was a pleasure that we didn’t expect would be so enjoyable. We hiked Grayson on a very windy and cold day and got warmed back up quickly watching movies and eating junk food. Would recommend as a good quite getaway
Although small, the size of this cabin didn't impact our stay in the least. It had everything we could possibly need, including a very comfortable bed. It was pristine, so clean I could have been convinced we were the first guests ever to stay there. Although we did not use it the loft looks like a great place for a couple of kids. We hope to be back.
Beautiful secluded location. The owner was very flexible with us regarding a revised schedule which was very much appreciated. The loft was a bit difficult because of the very low ceilings, but it was manageable as a place to store suitcases. Overall everything was great. The only (minor) complaint is that silverware was lacking in terms of spoons. We would definitely consider staying there again.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay after riding the Creeper Trail and we're already planning our next stay when we visit Grayson Highlands State Park. Cabin is everything advertised and more--we agreed that it was our best VRBO ever!
