We are thrilled to welcome you to our charming country retreat! Nestled in the heart of nature yet close to all the excitement, our spacious 3-level, 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is designed to offer you both comfort and adventure. Whether you're here to relax or explore, we hope your stay is unforgettable.
As a guest, you'll have exclusive access to the top three levels of the house, which include the living spaces, bedrooms, common areas, deck, hot tub and fire pit. We want to make sure you feel comfortable and have everything you need during your stay.
The House
Our home offers plenty of space to unwind. The open-concept design makes it easy to enjoy each other’s company, while the peaceful setting invites moments of solitude.
After a day of activities, don’t forget to treat yourself to a soothing soak in the hot tub or gather around the fire pit under the stars or northern lights for some relaxation and conversation. It’s the perfect way to end any day.
The Location
You’ll love our location situated within city limits south of Whitehorse
* Close to Town: Just a short 12 minute drive to local shops, restaurants, and all the amenities you need.
* Ski Hill: Only a short drive away for those looking to hit the slopes and enjoy winter fun.
* Golf Course: Golf lovers will appreciate being 3 minutes away from a beautiful course, perfect for a relaxing day on the greens.
* Trail Access: Our property borders a fantastic trail system that connects to the Trans Canada Trail. Whether you enjoy hiking, biking, or skiing in the winter, you’ll have direct access to explore the great outdoors.
* Kids Park: Just down the road within the subdivision there is a playground with an outdoor hockey rink (winter) paved court with basketball nets for the Summer also a BMX bike pump track.
* Kookatsoon Lake: A 15 minute drive south leads you to a small beautiful day use only lake, which is great for paddle boards, kayaks and your regular floaties.
* Miles Canyon and Suspension Bridge: Back towards town half way, you’ll find miles canyon which has a network of hiking and biking trails and famous picturesque views.
* Wolfs Den restaurant: located 10 mins south on the Alaska highway enjoy great food and treat yourself to off sales for around the fire after dinner
* McCrae gas station: heading into town you will be able fuel up just a few mins away.
We’ve worked hard to make sure this home is the perfect place to create lasting memories, whether you’re here to enjoy the beauty of nature, the thrill of the nearby ski hill, or simply to relax and unwind in this wonderful corner of the world!
Basement Access - The basement is a separate living area, and it is not included in the guest access. I (the host) will be using this space for personal purposes while I'm not away for work or traveling, which could potentially include shared access. ( but will confirm with guest prior to use) We kindly ask that you respect the privacy of this area, as it is designated for my use only.
Privacy & Boundaries - To ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay for everyone, please note that while you have access to the upper floors, certain areas, the basement is off-limits. If you have any questions or need clarification, feel free to ask before or during your stay.
Communication - We believe in clear communication to ensure a smooth experience. If you have any concerns or need assistance with anything related to the house, please don't hesitate to reach out!
