They have a cookout area, a nice place to enjoy being outside and relax. The rooms could use at least one more electrical outlet. Makes it difficult to run microwave or charge phone. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I'm sure I'll call on them again
Bedbugs!!! Third world conditions, absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed( I lived in Lake Charles right after hurricane Rita hit). Lake Land Inn is terrible. When I woke, I saw black spots on the sheets and when smashed them, they were full of blood. I went out and bought a bedbug bomb and set it off, leaving my things that I wore or that were on that bed. I came back later and put everything in a bag so I could wash everything later Eeww. I had reserved 3 nights but left after the first(obviously).
I am going to report this place to their health department.
The person that I had to get the key from was across the highway working at a gas station and I could only contact him by leaving my room and walking over there. TV worked but no signal remote would not work with TV. Cabinet that had Frig and TV on top, the door was falling off, missing a hinge.
It was worst than what I would expect in a slum.
Very outdated very dark room. Bathroom shower not clean. Cops were on site and when asked if it was safe to stay here he said he would not. Over priced for how outdated the facility was. Looks are deceiving!

I used Orbitz to reserve a room at this hotel. When I showed up to check into the hotel the owner said there was no vacancy. The owner said he would not charge me for the room. My wife and I left. The property did charge me for the room. This is dishonest behavior. I would not recommend this property.
A little questionable at checkin because the guy at the front desk didn’t even look up our reservation, but we got a room and it was alright. Beds were comfortable, the cords plugging in the TV and air conditioner were a little crazy, the place felt empty, but we got s good nights sleep.
The person at the “front desk” was very creepy & yelled at me. This is a very unsafe place to stay. He was also peering out the window at us when we left with his face pressed to the window.
We had to leave the hotel after 5 minutes because of the poor cleanliness and disgusting smell. We lost our money but could not stay in a place with hairs on the towels, stains all over the bathroom and shower curtains, and a cigarette smell.
For $80 a night I would have expected cleaner facilities and a more comfortable bed. The place is extremely run down and shouldn’t even be offered on Expedia.
When i went to check in i was told no rooms were available. I even called in the morning to confirm the reservation. No other rooms available in the area.

Wanted a cheap option because we were only resting our heads for a few hours. Paid $60 with fees. Room was clean enough, updated enough, check in was fast enough. Nothing too special and nothing to complain about. Suited our needs.
Absolutely disgusting mildew and roaches. Didn’t even check in after being in the lobby and around the property.

Beware of this motel
Do not book a room at this place! Made a reservation at hotels.com and when we arrived at the motel, the attendant had no more vacancies. He attempted to push us off to another location without offering a refund.
Im here trying to check in. Says it's open, but no one is here to check me in. I waited over 20 minutes. I even called. The phone rang while i was in the lobby no one around. What a dump
