This cabin, on private property, has 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and is directly on the lake with beach access and a new dock for your use. The cabin boasts 2 amazing decks, upper and lower, for enjoying the wonderful long days and beautiful evenings! Montana sunsets are incredible!
When entering, you are on the main floor that has an open floor concept with the living room, kitchen and dining area. There is a sliding glass door off the dining area out onto the upper deck. You can enjoy eating out here while taking in the breathtaking views. Also on this floor, there is a bedroom with a queen bed and it's own bathroom. From the main floor, you can head downstairs that has it's own living room, bedroom with a king bed and bathroom. This floor also has a deck off the living room. Head back upstairs, to the top floor, which contains the master bedroom, with a king bed and it's own bathroom.
You are only 15 minutes from downtown Whitefish, 25 minutes from the Whitefish Mountain Resort, and 50 minutes to Glacier National park, but just relaxing at this remote cabin, swimming in Whitefish Lake and enjoying the beautiful surroundings... is vacationing in itself...
You can also bring a boat! If you are bringing a boat, you must reach out to IBEX ASAP. We will require proof of insurance on your boat as it will be parked at our dock.
Whitefish Lake Golf Club is less than a 25 minute drive boasts 36 holes with fabulous mountain and lake views. Golf Digest has rated both courses in the top five for all courses in Montana. The restaurant at the golf course is rated one of the best in the Valley. Other notable golf courses in the area include Buffalo Hills - Kalispell, Northern Pines - Kalispell, Meadow Lake - Columbia Falls and Wilderness Golf Club – Eureka.
Glacier National Park is only about a 50 minute drive away. Massive glacial action began the forming of the mountains of this park 170 million years ago. Glacier National Park was established in 1910 and encompasses over 1 million acres, over 130 named lakes, more than 1,000 different species of plants and hundreds of species of animals. Soon after the establishment of the park the Great Northern Railway constructed a number of hotels and chalets and a total of 350 locations are on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1932 the Going To The Sun Road was completed and later designated a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark providing accessibility for automobiles into the heart of the park. Hiking is popular in the park. Over half of the visitors to the park report taking a hike on the park's nearly 700 miles (1,127 km) of trails.
Whitefish Mountain Resort is just a 15 minute drive with a myriad of different activities to choose from both summer and winter. Mountain biking, zip line tours, aerial adventure park, an alpine slide and hiking are just a few of the summer activities you can try. For skiers, it’s called Big Mountain for a reason covering 3,000 acres and 105 marked trails with vast amounts of bowl and tree skiing. Summit elevation is 6,817 ft./2,078 m, Base elevation is 4,464 ft./1,361 m and a Vertical drop of 2,353 ft./717.
