"Our stay at Northern Lights was overall excellent. Spotlessly clean, a large well stocked kitchen with every utensil we needed, and comfortable beds! The view of Mt. Hood was nice from the upper deck (there are two). While we didn’t use the hot tub, it was spotless, had nice towels and was ready to go. The bedrooms are up a flight of stairs and the front door is several steps above the parking area, for those with mobility problems. The management company, ARRIVED, is the gold standard for all to follow. Their communications were exceptional, with top notch friendly and caring staff.Northern Lights is a stone’s throw from the town of White Salmon and just across the Columbia River from Hood River. Just a heads-up, there is no BBQ grill. There are two large wooden decks, and safety considerations do not allow for outdoor cooking. The reviews on this exceptional property speak volumes. "The RubyJune is a wonderful little spot. Gretchen and Chris are incredibly devoted to making your stay as personal as they can. It is a little oasis all on its own, with sweet gardens and fire pits and wine/beer in the refrigerator. Breakfast is delicious in the cozy kitchen. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our two nights in this lovely place."
