Great property to stay at for snowmobiling with being able to ride right from the driveway. Clean, comfortable, and quiet area made for an enjoyable stay!
Clean, cozy cottage convenient to Porcupine Mtn State Park
A clean and comfy spot to stay when exploring Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. I especially appreciated the comfy bed and in-house washer and dryer. Check-in was easy, and host was quick to respond to questions.

Communication and support from owmers was outstanding and appreciated. Location was perfect for exploring the Porkies and Lake Superior shoreline. Home had everythimg needed and comfortable beds. Great stay!
The hosts were very responsive and courteous, it had plenty of room for 5 people, and brochures for area attractions and basic area info. It is a good central location to the areas that we wanted to explore( all within an hr drive). I would stay here again
Just off the trail by Konteka, easy access, very comfy firm beds, exactly what we needed, simple. driveway and yard plowed wide, lots of room for trailers and snowmobiles.
My wife and I were looking for a place to stay while we explored the Keweenaw peninsula and this house was perfect! It is close to a lot of amazing things to do and see and was very clean and well kept. We wish we would have spent more than three nights to be able to take in more of the U.P.!

Not fancy but met our needs. Beds were all comfortable. We were impressed with all the extras...tea selection, creamers, jam packets etc.
Was not a new place, but was clean and had everything we needed. Good place to stay; near parks, waterfalls, and trails. Can day trip in most any direction.
Our family of 4 stayed here while visiting the Porcupine Mountains and had a great time. The house has everything we needed and more! It's close to the park, a few good restaurants, and Lake Superior. Derric was very responsive and able to answer all our questions quickly. We will definitely stay again if we're in the area.
Everything was perfect, check-in was simple, and check-out process was very minimal. We were able to ride our snowmobiles right from property to groomed trails within 1/4 miles. Plenty of room for our trailer.
My wife and I have been to the Porkies a few times, but it was my Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law's first trip. We completely enjoyed the area and your home. We look forward to our next visit and plan to reach out to you when we do. Thank You for the memories!!
Super warm and cozy! Very accurate listing, bathroom was very clean, loved the coffee bar and that you provide jams and other items we didn’t want to bring up with us. Neighborhood is quite and felt safe even though it’s older. House is close to the porcupine mountains park and lots of deer everywhere! Will stay here again in the summer! Communication with host was absolutely excellent!!! Super fast responses. Thanks for a great stay!
We stayed 3 nights while visiting the Porkies State Park. They are nicely setup for guests. We enjoyed having a Roku so we could watch something’s at night. Our dogs were very comfortable. We did utilize the kitchen to make a few things and found the equipment helpful for our needs. The primary bed is amazing!! It was nice to have a fire pit to use one night. Neighborhood was quiet. There isn’t too much in the town, but we loved the pizza at the Porkies Outpost a short drive away. Would stay here again
15 minutes from Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park
The cabin is nestled comfortably in a quiet neighborhood in White Pine, which is minutes from hiking in the Porkies. We found the property easily, and was able to access via a lockbox. Inside the cabin was clean and organized, though do pay attention to previous reviews regarding outlets - they are a bit scarce, especially in the bedrooms.
The kitchen and bathroom was well stocked, though be sure to pack in food if you want to avoid driving to Ontonagon for a meal!
We intereacted with the Owners once and found the experience amenable. Overall a successful and pleasurable stay.
Very comfortable little cabin for two mature couples and our dogs. It is located in a residential neighborhood very close to the Konteka restaurant which features black bear for viewing right through the window as you're dining. We saw at least one bear on each of our visits except one.
Things to keep in mind. You better bring what you need because the area is very isolated from the usual stores, restaurants, gas stations etc. Our Verizon cell phones had no reception at the cabin or in much of the general vicinity. Our phones did work with the wifi at the cabin but we had to get in to get that set up. Overall we would recommend this cabin for those interested in exploring the beautiful, mostly pristine natural wonders that the UP and the Porcupine mountains have to offer.
