We enjoyed our family vacation in this quaint farmhouse! My kids enjoyed seeing the chickens and collecting fresh eggs for breakfast. Our host was available and made our stay an enjoyable one.
Our stay at Secret Hills Farm was fabulous!! The property manager was so helpful and accommodating. The house was beautiful and decorated with perfect details! The location was quiet and peaceful and very central to many areas of MD, PA, and DE. I would highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again on another visit!
very nice but description was not completely accurate
It was very nice. Manager and others VERY nice and friendly. Quite clean. The description online was not completely accurate. Upstairs there is a master bedroom (en-suite bathroom with rainwater shower and separate jacuzzi under the eaves) with a king bed, and a bedroom with a full and a twin bed, as well as a full bath in the hall. Downstairs there is a single bedroom with a queen bed. Between that bedroom and the full bath downstairs there is a common area with a double futon (and one "barn door," though nothing in the other entrance). Unless you call that common area a bedroom (one which the people in the queen room have to walk through to get to the bathroom -- plus anyone else using that bathroom on that floor), there is no fourth bedroom. But, we enjoyed being able to gather our own eggs from the flock of chickens in the barn, the setting was beautiful, and Fredy, the manager, was extremely nice and helpful. Total stars: 4.6
We were in town for a family gathering and wanted to stay nearby. This property was clean, modern, well decorated, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch at night and listening to quiet nature. Our kids enjoyed seeing animals at a farm nearby, as well as the trampoline. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was easy to cook in. Overall, a great stay and clear communication with host. We hope to stay again in the future and try out the fire pit!
