Other things to note
Like many of Whitby’s old cottages there is no dedicated parking although you can unload and load up your car outside the cottage. There are long stay car parks within close vicinity or street parking a few minutes walk. We provide guests with Whitby W zone parking scratch cards for the duration of their stay (subject to availability).
Periwinkle Cottage is dog friendly and we accept 2 well behaved dogs. Please note however that there is no garden or enclosed outdoor space, just an open outside area with a bistro table and chairs and a bench. The outside area is a public right of way. For the benefit of all our guests, dogs are not allowed upstairs in the cottage or on furniture. Whitby Pannett Park does not allow dogs.
The twin attic bedroom has an open steep staircase so please be careful with toddlers or small children. There is also a step down into the bathroom. The washing machine is located in the cellar/basement under the cottage with its own entrance, again down steps. Not recommended for anyone who has difficulty negotiating steps and stairs.
